Why are liberals so angry?

Look who claims to be speaking for us.

We fought, politically and socially, for an end to discrimination on the basis of race, sex, religion, and sexual orientation; now people who call themselves "liberal" are demanding it be done MORE.

We fought, politically and socially, for an expansion of the family, allowing gays to marry and openly express their romantic desires like straight people do; now people who call themselves "liberal" are seeking to destroy the nuclear family and demonize straight people.

We fought, politically and socially, for fair labor laws, wages, and weekends; now people who call themselves "liberal" are flooding the coffers of Amazon and Blackrock and calling for the Chinese to be let in.

We fought, politically and socially, for an end to government spying and intrusion, rolling back the anti-Constitutional atrocities of the Patriot Act and related legislation; now people who call themselves "liberal" are doing worse than Dubya ever did.

You'd be angry, too.

Because they've created all these boogeymen, or looking for them everywhere. They think racism, discrimination, hatred, bigotry, sexism, oppression, and other things like that are the reasons for everything ugly in history. They probably just think that mankind in general is scum. Except, that is, for indigenous tribes that raped, gutted, scalped, and enslaved each other, played soccer with the decapitated heads of their enemies, and sacrificed children to the sun.

They see those of us who appreciate the good we received from past generations, who acknowledge the ugly spots in our history, but still see a lot worth preserving. They think we ignore or deny the bad things in today's world and it makes them angry.

They hate themselves because they are a bunch of losers. They see conservatives graduating from college with a degree tta is in demand and not women's studies. These guys are more desirable to women and that pisses them off too. They deflect by calling them Nazis and fascists. The women are crazy too. They think abortion is a huge issue even though most will never find a guy that would sleep with them.

They're angry because they're miserable people to begin with. Their idea of success is to rein in the rights and freedoms of others, because their lives largely suck.
