To the people who refuse to wear face masks, do you relate to this meme?

In the uk, they are soon to be mandating the use of face coverings in main shops despite the science behind them being weak.
A face covering according to our government is two pieces of cotton fabric. (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/how-to-wear-and-make-a-cloth-face-covering/how-to-wear-and-make-a-cloth-face-covering#:~:text=This%20is%20a%20simple%20guide,-19)%20pandemic%20is%20available.)
They say not to try to buy medical grade as there are not enough of those available.
As such it seems a bit silly and pointless.
I bet 99% of the people refusing to wear masks because it infringes on their "freedom rights", have no clue how extensively their phones and internet usage is being traced, logged and recorded. There are lots of ways to be a tool and not know it.
People who refuse to wear a face covering are selfish. It makes me laugh when I hear them say "those who do wear one are cowards" lol that just shows their immature mindset
I always wear a face mask. Not just to protect myself and family, but to protect the most vulnerable people in our society. I could be asymptomatic and pass it to vulnerable people who are more likely to suffer complications or a fatality due to Covid-19 . I care about people's lives, even strangers lives. So i always wear one when I go out
Really though fucking privileged pricks 🤦🏻♀️.
They are the type of people that haven’t gone through shit because if wearing a mask gets you that upset and makes you finally realize our system is corrupt you’ve definitely had a Fantastic life.
They are the epidemy of living the first world privileged life that they can't wrap their head around the fact that we're dealing with a natural disaster.
Honestly though it’s fucking fucked as hell smh 🤦🏻♀️

People are afraid of a cloth mask? 😂 I doubt it. If masking works at not spreading the disease, as they wore them in China, then why did it spread? Because masks don't prevent the spread of covid. There has been studies done on the efficacy of masks. But hey, who needs actual science? 🤷🏼♀️ Definitely not the masses.
That's why we use a multiplicity of measures that all work together to lessen the spread. If you do not understand that keeping a minimum distance of 1,5m is useless if everyone can just sneeze without facemasks contaning their germs I have bad news for you.
It would be illegal for me to wear one No joke literally have court order i cannot wear masks. And bubonic plague masks just like mostly the masks people wear today don't work granted way more due to the way bubonic was spread different but alas still both don't work there is a reasons why hospitals were made by law to stop using the masks mostly everyone is now wearing they hardly work. But yes there is the argument well it's better than nothing. I just don't go out anyway lol.
Okay, one. I don't wear a mask. It's not because I don't want to. I do, sort off. I just personally don't. Sure call me selfish or privileged but honestly I don't wear it because of where I am. The province I live in has only 30 people infected last I checked which was a couple weeks ago. And none of those people are near the city that I live close to. So, until the count of how many people are infected ends up being 100 or more i don't need to wear one
That's okay really. I wear mine only on public transport and in closed buildings. When I'm out and about i just make sure to stay away from people. My city hasn't had any new infections for weeks and that's mainly because everyone followed the new hygiene standards. This question was directed more towards the mAsKS aRE fAsCiSm crowd
Afraid? How about they just don’t want to wear a dirty face diaper? Is that okay with you, do you respect peoples rights, or do you think you can force everyone to wear a mask just to make you feel safer?
i wonder if you think you can force everyone to take a vaccine too?
If you're putting other people at risk by not wearing a face mask you aren't respecting their rights to perform essential activities without the fear of dying.
@Ad_Quid_Orator At no point do you have the right to dictate what another individual can or can not wear, little ignorant child.
@Ad_Quid_Orator you don't understand what rights are, you don't understand philosophy
First of all, we have "indecent exposure laws" and those aren't protecting people from a pandemic. I understand what rights are at a more fundamental level than you can because you're blinded by your first world privilege. You right to swing your arm doesn't apply to a place where someone else's face is, your right to do what you want with your own property doesn't apply to having a tank of chlorine gas in your backyard because of the public safety hazard and you're right to not wear a mask doesn't apply when not doing is likely to spread a pandemic.
@Ad_Quid_Orator Law does not correlate to what is right or not. Law changes from state to state, does that mean that in certain states something is right and in certain ones something is not? No, law is man made, it is a fallacy, and it only holds weight SO LONG as it correlates to natural law, which exists independent of man.
If somebody doesn't want to wear any clothes at all, I have no right to tell them to put on clothes so long as they aren't on my private property. If you think that you, OR ANYONE, DOES have that right, then you are every bit the brainwashed, ignorant, naive little boy I pegged you for initially.
@Ad_Quid_Orator obviously you don't have the right to punch an innocent person in the face, thanks for the affirmation XD not wearing a mask is not violence unto another person. If you don't wanna be near people without masks because you're a paranoid, misinformed idiot, then you have every right to take your two legs and walk yourself somewhere else
@Ad_Quid_Orator let me ask you one question though, just to see how deep under the spell you are.
Should I be able to enter a grocery store without a vaccine once the vaccine is out?
Answer me this.
And the natural law states that unless people take protective measures, a virus will spread through the population and even if most people keep their distance, it only takes a small population of people to act irresponsibly to allow the pandemic to spread (hence the need to mandate laws that restrict the spread of the virus as opposed to leaving it up to individuals; any response to a pandemic has to be a communitarian one). But I think indecent exposure laws are dumb because unlike mask mandates, they don't stop the spread of the pandemic and if you think that your "right" to go out without a mask is more important than the lives of others and the well being of our society (because if you think the lock-down hurt the economy, imagine how bad it's going to get when half the citizens are too sick to work for weeks on end), then you are nothing more than a whiny, entitled bratty drama queen with a serious victim complex. Not wearing a mask is still putting other people at risk. You don't get to have a huge tank of chlorine gas in your backyard and say "if people are afraid of it rupturing they can just move their pansy ass somewhere else". And if/when a vaccine comes out I think getting it should be mandatory for everyone PERIOD. And if you think that's an infringement of individual rights, then how bad is not being able to go to the store without the fear of dying?
@Ad_Quid_Orator If you try to put a needle in me without my consent ill kill you where you stand
have a nice day, fascist, totalitarian fuckhead
Don't worry about that, I'm sure they can put in a suppository for you (and lube it up with all the BS you spit about how people who advocate public safety measures during a pandemic are "fascist totalitarians").
Seriously, learn a thing or two about rugged collectivism ;)
@Ad_Quid_Orator I know a lot about collectivism you anally obsessed totalitarian fuck, and I DISAGREE WITH IT ON A FUNDAMENTAL, FIRST PRINCIPLES, MORAL LEVEL
What defines "morality" is what benefits society and different rules apply to small groups (the kind we evolved in) and large, interconnected societies (the kind we live in now). If you apply small group morality to a modern society what you inevitably end up with is privatized tyranny; pure unbridled totalitarianism (just how you like it).

This better meme for you mask lovers. Actually I have two for you.

Do you know what memes are?
yes, these
In that case I've got a mask idea for you; a hybrid of these two:
And we'll keep the key in a safe until the pandemic's over :)
@Ad_Quid_Orator Second pic Ad quid , second pic
With a padlock on the back ;)
I dont think its has anything to do with fear or to show that your strong. Its just its braking peoples freedom and showing people are sheep doing what the master told you. By small steps they are integrating there agendas how to take away our freedom and by wearing this mask we show that yes master i do and give away my freedom
Can't relate. I'm not "afraid" of any mask. If it weren't mandatory, I'd wear one voluntarily. However, since it has been made mandatory, I choose not to wear one as a form of civil disobedience. Bite me.
It's hard to know the truth when science doesn't even know wtf they're talking about with this virus though.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/_giRRChJXTctime stamp 4:35 if you want to see the great Dr. Fauci telling us that masks don't work.
Yeah, because when that video was released the available data indicated that masks didn't work. We've since got more data indicating that they do. Part of a response to a novel natural disaster is learning what works and what doesn't and adjusting our response accordingly.
@Ad_Quid_Orator and yet, they're continuing to hold President Trump responsible as though HE should have known all along what works or didn't work, and what's best and not best to do, while you're giving "science" a free pass to learn along the way. But also, watching the video, the science of masks is based on previously known viruses as well. So if they would be ineffective against larger viruses, how could we possibly think they'll work against a virus significantly smaller in size? None of this is simple or cut and dry, especially when it changes based on politics as it appears to be doing. The virus doesn't affect BLM protestors across the country, but scientific claims arise that Trump's single rally was responsible for a dramatic uptick in cases. The politics of this virus are impossible to deny, yet I know you will.
We aren't holding Trump accountable as though he should have known all along, we're holding him accountable for not learning along the way and adjusting his strategy accordingly. I don't deny the "politics of the virus"; polls show that people on the political left take the virus more seriously (at an individual level) so they're more likely to take precautions if they are gathering for protests hence we didn't see an uptick in cases where BLM protests take place. So yeah, politics is involved but not in the way you're trying to portray it as.
People who don't wear masks
Believe the virus is a democratic hoax
Why?
Trump once said it was
We of course know, it's a real thing though
ITS REAL, PEOPLE, AND IT'S DANGEROUS
Why do you shower daily? Do you know that people back then couldn't regularly wash and had to live and sleep in their own filth? God you're SUCH a pathetic human being why can't you be more like people who lived 700 years ago and tolerate their own stench? Smh @2020ians
and here we have someone overanalyzing a meme format. You're great at humor!
And you're great at ridiculing others and hiding behind the guise of "it's just a joke" and avoiding having to actually come up with a proper, well-founded meme iteration.
If jokes are just jokes and not meant to ridicule, do you support the use of this meme?:
sure, listening to comedians and not actual scientists is a great idea. Especially considering this routine wasn't even about a deadly virus. Great argument. 10/10
I just think the cloth ones are pointless so for that reason I bought an N99 respirator
Masks are more about aerosols from your own breath than anything else.
The respirator covers in and out... having a retired GSK scientist in the address book is a perk
I dislike them because they make it harder to breath, make it even hotter than it already is, and does absolutely nothing.
This comes from the same crowd who said Trump was racist to want to stop Asian flights. 😂
I wore a scarf 🧣 around my face during winter does that count?
Yep you are right. It is like another medieval times.
great question
No one is afraid of wearing a mask.
LMFAO
