Is MGTOW for the successful ones or for the failures?

MGTOW - Men Going Their Own Way - is a statement of self-ownership, where the modern man preserves and protects his own sovereignty above all else. It is the manifestation of one word: "No". Ejecting silly preconceptions and cultural definitions of what a man is. Looking to no one else for social cues. Refusing to bow, serve and kneel for the opportunity to be treated like a disposable utility. And, living according to his own best interests in a world which would rather he didn't.

In other words. . . common sense for men.

I think wikipedia is not that accurate about MGTOW

Since most (if not almost all) MGTOW avoid dating women, they're focused on something else. Some of them focus on making banks 💰💰💰 but they're not sharing that with any pink ever - not, that I expect any man to.

But the question is Where do you draw the line with sovereignty?

That would actually be GREAT if that’s what it really is, and I’d support it too.

From my experience and everything I know about MGTOW, that’s not the image I see from it. The things you mentioned are simply just parts of being a man. 🤷🏻‍♀️I can’t count how many times I’ve known of guys who are into MGTOW who have later come up to me and asked me out because they see that I’m more traditional and not against anything you just said. “Oh, you’re different, you’re not like these modern feminists, you’re what men want, blah blah blah blah...” They tend to be really surprised when I turn them down and say nope go your own way. 😊

Correct me if I’m wrong: MGTOW guys are more like ones who assume all women want to take away the things you just mentioned, which is why they can’t be happy with a woman even when they might want one, so it makes them look like incels.
But If MGTOW was actually everything you just said and no other conditions, I’d be supporting it too. I’m anti-feminist.

@ChocoBrownieMonster No because I’m not putting on a show for them. They’re not worth my time, which is why I just dismiss them and let them go their own way. You’re looking at it like I purposely put on a show of trying to be what they want and then turn on them like for revenge or something. No sir. I was raised traditionally, and I’m very proud of it. MGTOW guys are definitely not the only ones who pick up on this and see the things I value which most men and women don’t nowadays. I’m proud to be one to support my man in every way and against feminism. 💯 It’s them who ask and get the rejection. I get your point, and you're right, and to answer you I prefer to appeal to a traditional man, yeah... but MGTOW definitely do not come across as gentlemen, especially when they want to go their own way and not date women, as the asker has stated, and then want to give me a shot because I'm traditional. I'm traditional, yes, and most would say "exceptional" (not trying to sound stuck up here), but I'm still a woman. If you're gonna "go" apart from women, well, I'm still a woman.

interesting take, i apologise for misunderstood you at the beginning which is why i kept being inquisitive to learn about you more. I actually like what you said now. The MGTOW are likely hateful because of family court issues in child custody or divorce. I myself spoke to a family court barrister that they seem to ignore a child's own interests even when they are crying out. I've been told my inquisitive nature is quite intimidating for a woman especially on a first date, but how else am i supposed to understand her. I like an emotional connection or else i dont find her attractive sexually, physical isn't enough it wears off. This basic way of dating where you can't touch on a date and must sit there like a lemon is what gets guys nowhere and the dreaded 'we didn't have chemistry' i now learnt to be bold and romantically rest my hands under her palms when she has them out infront of me. I compliment aswell, i have her reacting in so many ways. But this is wrong in a feminists eyes :S it wasn't wrong when her pupils were all dilated and she was smiling and blushing. Dont girls love feeling affectionately dominated? lol the feminist argument is im getting them attached to me so early on. But i wouldn't do this if i wasn't seriously interested. Im doing it by natural chemistry. This is why traditionalists are being outlawed by society. I think the GAG member who criticised me the way they did made me feel disgusting. That is actually very manly of you, even to say because the simp guys will claim that you’re the one who’s the simp, yet they can’t pull off what you’re saying because like you said - society. Anyways, that sounds exactly like how I would want to be treated. I’m not crazy about the opening the car door thing 😂but other gentleman behaviors like maybe the door to the place or the things you mentioned show more character instead of everybody trying to be robots and equal to each other. It's for failures, they're men who hate women because they can't get the attractive girlfriend they dream of so instead they try to get revenge on them, try to humiliate them, insult them, etc... just to get revenge for their hurt ego. they basically resolve all their life around women (while saying they "go their own way" without eating about women... pretty hypocritical).

MGTOW would be good if it was composed of men who truly had no interest in women and were only interested in their passion / hobbies / sport, etc... But instead MGTOW is composed of bitter men who search revenge on women who rejected them. They're just arrogant assholes with a ego too big but are much too much cowards to say anything to anyone face and rather spit their hate on internet hoping someone would care about it.
I read a lot about it for years because at first I naively though what they said (that they were too ugly to date etc...) but honesty most of them just have an extremely bad personality and look average or slightly ugly at worst. Usually the ugliest one are less bitter which is kind of amazing.
Not all are bad obviously bit the louder part of them is really quite repulsive.

Living in a wealthy neighbourhood and knowing men and women a decade above me, I've seen the damage feminism has done. Men and women all live in separate houses and 'occasionally' see a partner. However those that choose to have their partner in their house, the common occurance is a woman moaning outside that he's kicked her out for a set number of days to satisfy the 'legal issues' that she can take part ownership just by living there long enough. It's hilarious and sad.

The poor librarian tried to preach wisdom to these student girls about the nice guy, and they looked at me and i raised my middle finger.

MGTOW seems to be a GAG-only phenomenon. I’ve come and gone on gag three or four times in the last six years. Every time I come back, it’s like, “Oh yeah, MGTOW!” I've seen and heard literally nothing about it outside of GAG. It makes you realize what a weird bunch of men GAG attracts.

I just did and it’s not the first time I’ve done so. This excerpt of the mission statement or manifesto or whatever from the front page:

…doesn’t reflect my experience of society or of women. I can see how it might for others, who have somehow only ever encountered users and grifters in the opposite sex. (There’s always the idea that you attract what you think you deserve, which men routinely tell abused women on this site and in general, but that’s a digression.) Anyway, my experience is that you get out of a relationship what you put into it, and I am living my best interests because of it.

Women in my experience aren't hostile at all. However I get to interact with some really nice women on the regular. They're mostly working women however.
When I watch MGTOW videos it feels like they are reporting from the other side of the planet or something distant as if the women there evolved in a way, that they became feral. And then I hear women from those same regions being also kind and sweet. It's like "what?" simply put.

MGTOW is a byproduct of both modern toxic feminism and the shit men have to deal with in daily life and in court (which is in favor for women). Many MGTOWers are men who ate shit because of 'divorce rape' for example. Even though I myself am not MGTOW, I perfectly understand why they think the way they think. I honestly cannot blame them. What you say is correct, only that's a very simplistic point of view within this topic. Many men who went MGTOW got burned in their lives and thus took an active stance in re-educating themselves and that of other people. Everyone complains about golddiggers, it just depends on what context. I don't like golddiggers, but I don't complain about them, because I actively avoid them like the plague.

Depends what you define as "successful". I would probably be classified as MGTOW. can tell you it certainly has benefitted me monetarily. I will be a millionaire it's just a matter of time now. Something i'm quite certain wouldn't have been the case had i had women in my life sending the flow of money in the other direction.
