The left is created by resentment and victimhood. The left, and mostly white lefties, buy into self-hate because it gives them a sense of purpose and identity. They rise in their minds and twisted perceptions to a level of moral superiority by becoming the representatives opposed to “oppression” even if it means cutting their own throats in the process because they believe that once the “oppressed” are elevated they will reward them back in return. These people have lost any sense of identity in reality, which makes them easily open to such leftist idealist programming. “The Revolution won’t happen with guns, rather it will happen incrementally, year by year, generation by generation. We will gradually infiltrate their educational institutions and their political offices, transforming them slowly into Marxist entities as we move towards universal egalitarianism.” — Max Horkheimer Egalitarianism per his and other Cultural Marxists’ definition doesn’t mean equal rights, be careful here, it means equal outcomes. It says that all will have and be the same whether they produce or become leftist parasites. It is a false sense of reward for the leftist parasites. The only way that this philosophy can work is by bringing the ones that produce and excel, down to the lowest common denominator of the resentful “victims.” Taxes redistribute to the resentful “victims”; eliminating guns, levels and establishes insecure dependency on the government; while removing the police simultaneously, instills fear for complete submission.

I wouldn't say everyone voting for him is stupid.

For starters, the mainstream media is fake news, and so people who listen to them are very rarely exposed to the truth. Misinformation leads to ignorance, and ignorance leads to making bad choices.

For some people yes, they are just morons who will knowingly vote against their best interests. Just remember to give some people the benefit of the doubt. I like to start by assuming that people with pernicious worldviews have been mislead and are capable of admitting they're wrong in the face of compelling evidence. If I assume people are too stupid to see the light, I would never attempt to show others the errors in their thinking.

Raising taxes bad but they all do it by creating a problem somewhere else, opening boarders OK, defunding the police? Well only if the money they already get provides them with enough resources and allows them to retrain on how to deal with the public. Other resources is that military at the boarders? If so that's good for me.
