I hVent seen it, I assume its about dance due to the costumes... As I used to dance when I was younger, dance then is a lot different now.. Now all the kids wear tiny costumes, fake tan and thick makeup... Kids twerking is up there with kids who pole dance it is controversial.. But still a form of dance, and takes hours of practice and choreography to get to near perfection... So it's a double edged sword... Should we consider these dance styles. Sexualizibg children... Or do we appriciate the hours of practice young girls put themselves through to perform a dance style they enhot

Any dancer young or old tho is not looking at the costumes but dance itself and many will appreciate different styles... So if I sat and watched this film id be focused on strictly the dancing, timing etc... M

Of your talking about the uniforms I think it’s normal, that’s what I’ve been wearing for gymnastics and dance since I was 7, but I remember I had a dance routine that involved twerking when I was 10 and my mother pulled me out because she thought it was inappropriate, so I guess letting little girls do that kind of dance on national tv where all kinds of creeps can see, it can be very harmful to those girls.

It's a shame a style of African dance has been sexulised... As you are a dancer you'll know what I mean, we respect all styles of dance... We'd look at dance styles not think anything of it, look at timing and formation.. Twerking has been sexulised, it wouldn't look out of place in an African dance routine, in African costume and to African music but is defo wrong in glittery costumes, makeup and pop music. Dance cultures should be respected and celebrated not mashed up and disrespected and made money out of
