She's only 34% black so she's not even a black person, she's multi-racial, also you know black people come in a lot of shades right? so you can have a lot of light skin people and they have no white in them, besides then saying that you would mean if they have something else in them they would be lighter. I'm a darksinned black woman and I'm afro Latina, it doesn't work that way DNAvarys. Please do your research before you say stuff like this.

We're mutts and come in all different shades.
My mother has more European than me and i'm a lot lighter than she is.
But, uh.. cool.
I don't what you mean by that. But just because you are dark-skinned does not mean that you don't have European heritage. Case and point. .
When it comes to race, people are obsessed with only the portion of the genetic code responsible for looks. And not a person's entire genetic make up which shows ancestry. The weird thing is, we all have far more ancestors who did not contribute anything to our genetic makeup whatsoever.
Do people not realize that? I thought it was fairly obvious that if your a lighter skin black person you are more then likely a mix (though to be fair almost every one is a mix to some degree or another). I mean I suppose if we consider African black, then you could just be north African (but they are not what most would consider black to begin with). Is some one suggesting otherwise?

"You people are racist." When you judge an entire race by the actions of a few of its members, that is called "racial prejudice." Aren't you, in fact, the very thing that you are calling other people?
Yeah I dated a Javanese there are quite of few metamorphic rocks and people groups but it's those that wander that tend to stray from convention and convention which does not move too well. I wouldn't worry too much about your ethnicity.
I bet if you find a genuine guy that also doesn't care then you'll be just fine. Or genuine lady, whatevWho cares , many people think I'm Spanish or Mexican or Indian.. etc. a lot of ethnicities share looks , doesn't mean I have a white parent 🤔
Painfully incorrect my mother is dark and my brother's dad is very dark but he is bright and we are black.
Black people here used to use bleach to make skin lighter. I was told that by a neighbor that used to own a business in the 1960's. I thought that was crazy.
Two things I don't care about are race and ethnicity; in my opinion, they serve only to divide the human family along imaginary lines. They should be tossed aside like yesterday's newspapers.
Not really. Black people will naturally become lighter skinned in higher latitude places in the world. As skin color is the result of the latitude of your ancestors. But having a white parent does make the process happen quicker.
I don't understand the point of the post.
