Girls flying the plane? He thinks a pilot in her late 30's or 40's with 10,000 hours of flight time is a girl? LOL.

Your boyfriend sounds like someone out of the 1950's. Does he honestly believe any commercial airline would have anyone, man or woman pilot a plane if they were not extremely qualified? Does he think airlines would risk a crash, the loss of hundreds of lives, billions in liability and bad publicity and a $400 million dollar plane just to be PC?
I honestly don't get someone who in this day and age still thinks like this. Tell him to watch this video of 2 women pilots for Etihad flying an A380, the largest commercial plane in the world and see how thorough, detailed and capable they are.Ask him this, out of all the major commercial plane crashes of the last 20 years, how many were male pilots and how many were female. Then ask him if he's still worried about flying with women pilots.

I haven't flown very often, but I can't recall hearing a woman's voice on the radio identifying herself as the pilot even once. (Actually, I can't recall hearing that at all; usually they call themselves "the captain", as though they don't know the difference between a plane and a boat, but I let that slide.) However, I'm pretty sure you operate the controls of a plane with your hands, not your genitals. If you're good enough to pass the tests, I don't see how it'd matter.
I'm thinking they had the same education and they landed (hehh) a job as a pilot, not dead yet, so they must be able to fly properly just like a man...
They go through the same training... they wouldn't be allowed to fly if they weren't qualified

Not a problem. I think it is sexist to feel this way. It's about the training that each pilot receives, not about if they have a penis. If they are a pilot, then they have the training, and I trust an average woman will do the same job with the same skill level as an average man.
Flying isn't the issue for me.
But when a lady pilot comes to... PARK... the aircraft... well :Dwell personally i wouldn't care when it comes to flying a plane, if something was ever gonna bother me then it would be from something thats scientifically proven that guys have that women dont, for example if i was going to get uncircumcised and its a woman doing the surgery, i believe i have the rights to panic but flying a plane, a woman has an even chance of being a good pilot just as a man does.
That wouldn't bother me a bit. As far as I'm aware, the presence of absence of a penis does not effect one's ability to fly a plane. Most of the flying is done by a computer anyway. Seems silly to me. Flying isn't a physical activity. And this might be my own bias, but I feel like a female pilot is less likely to drink on the job.
I'd start panicking and have to get off the plane *right now* if I knew females were flying the plane.
No, I'm kidding. I'm presuming they've flown and landed a plane successfully before...
Women driving on the other hand...I trust the EASA enough to maintain requirements of pilot requirements at a high level. Whether someone is a woman or dude or identifies as something else, I really don’t care as long as they are certified.
Why should it matters what gender the pilot is?
Who cares about the gender, can the pilot fly the plane from Point A to B?
Your boyfriend sounds backwards and stupidNo the captain has a minimum of 1500 flight hours before there even allowed to be a captain and less experience captain get really experienced copilots
No. Not at all.
I feel uncomfortable with an all-male cabin crew. No, unless they bump into another plane on the taxiway while doing their makeup, lol.
As long as she is qualified it does not matter to me.
Well just too feel safe I hear they crash cause of all the auto features on them and they can't get control back with weather and landing or take offs, so that's fine I guess?
As long as she is a " four-striper" (a full Captain), I would have no problem.
Not really. Planes pretty fly themselves; plus pilots must put several hours of training before they are certified to fly a plane.
This is exactly why we need more female pilots and why representation is important.
As long as they actually know how to fly the plane I don't care. That said, being a pilot myself, I can tell when they are a little bit off and that makes me very nervous.
I could care less about their gender than their skills!
Yes! Its like driving a car when something goes wrong the women panics and everyone does.
If I can have a threesome with them after we land then sure.
Why would that make anyone uncomfortable
