Where there is water, there is life!!!
Do You Think Life Lives In The Oceans of Europa and Io?
Where there is water, there is life!!!
Maybe? However people forget gas giants like Jupiter are like magnets which attracts lot of meteorites. This exposes those moons to steady bombardment from the orbit and impacts that will cause global extinction events far much often than on earth. Another problem for life is enormous radiation of Jupiter.
Even if life is there, it's just microorganisms
But they are not talking about Jupiter but its moon. But I do think life can survive everywhere. We found worms in sulfur caves for example

Io orbits around Jupiter practically inside radiation belt, Europa a little bit further around 600.000 km (earth too moon ~380.000 km).
This amount of radiation can be very problematic for life as we know it.
Of course we’re all speculating, but I think scientists says Europa has actual water and not ice. So that would logically mean carbon life forms.
Europa is like the gold mine
Life doesn't just need water it needs a stable environment. The big problem with most planets is the surface conditions fluctuate too much. However oceans are incredibly stable and would be the most obvious place to find life.
Now they think there are oceans on the moons of Uranus

On earth life under the Antarctica ice is a good example. Its got a biodiversity to rival the rainforests yet most don't even know its there.

It is possible, however its most likely just bacteria and algea.
If it is an ocean, it would be more than just bacteria and algae
Possible, yes... but really slim chances.
Microbial life is what I would expect, nothing big then that.
If it is an ocean, it would be more than just bacteria and algae
It's a sealed ocean with properties that most likely aren't very life friendly. And we have nothing telling us that there is enough variety to actually encourage and benefit the development of advanced life. So we should expect at best the life that exist around Hotspot in our oceans. There is nothing large that survive there that doesn't requires things Europa doesn't have. So without more scientific discoveries that tell us life can do more then we think.
Whenever I think about other planets climates and landscape I become afraid. Imagine living on some of those planets and seeing the worst storms imaginable.
They think there are many Earth like planets out there also
Doubtful. It’s fair to assume earth is one of a kind.
Not "earth-like" just that they have a similar to profile to back when Earth was just starting to foster life.
How do they know that there are oceans underground on Jupiter’s moons. isn’t Jupiter like 400 million miles away.
Here is one way we know. Water plumes coming from underground

It’s a great theory. And that would be awesome but we don’t actually know if it’s water vapor or not. Or where it’s coming from. They tend to create a plausible theory, then announce it to the world as fact.
Until life is discovered outside of earth it is logical to believe that life is so extremely improbable that life formed on earth and nowhere else.
Life on Earth live in strange places like hot springs, sulfur caves, black smokers, areas without sunlight, etc. So life can survive everywhere!!
It would be fun to imagine that there is :)
I bet that they are there but we just need to find them
Maybe bacteria.
Maybe more
