Why do older right wing men get triggered so easily?
I can't speak for anyone, but myself, but I don't think that this is the proper forum to discuss things like firearms, politics and religion! This should be a place where the genders can openly discuss relationship things, and feeling things, and not these other things that get people angry, when some say something, or post a question that seems to degrade their perspective, and disrespect their view. People will always disagree! The KEY, is to DISAGREE, in and AGREEABLE WAY, and not descend into name calling, bullying, and bigotry, which is SOOOOO common on this site.

I'd really love to go one day on the Internet where people aren't forced to take sides on some ridiculous culture war. Whether you're left wing or right wing, chances are you're no more enlightened than those on the opposite side. Taking sides means intellectual agency has left the building. I'm not really sure what your point is. I don't think its the left trying to cancel jokes. It's people who don't understand comedy. And those people have always been on both sides, more so on the right.

I gave the Dave Chapplle special as an e. g., becuase it was only people on the left trying to cancel him. The same happened with Ricky Gervais when he hosted that award show.
I listen to a lot of podcast with comedians ( bored from lockdown) and they don't complain about conservatives trying to cancel them for jokes , it's the left.
It's not the left, its a very small fringe group on the left. Dave Chappell is really loved by everyone on the left. And conservatives don't really listen to comedy in the first place, at least compared to liberals. The only conservative comedian that i know is Louis CK. Your opinion lacks logic.

Because everybody gets triggered quite easily if something is attacked that is precious and worthy to them. That´s only the case for right wing men. Take for example the discussion about Archie, the son of Meghan and Harrie. Some people get offended because someone in the royal family might have made comments about the skin colour of Archie. Where I would say that´s not a big deal, though it wasn´t the smartest thing to do.

I don't think they get triggered so easily. I am amazed at the restraint most of my fellow Americans are showing in the face of the liberal onslaught we have been subjected to for the last 5 years. I do however fear we are reaching the tipping point.

a slight comparison would be if, for example, you really didn't like the name Lucas and much preferred to go by Luke or something.
