Peopleu are all about fronts, and the male variety often is based around puffing out your chest and insisting how manly you are. Most men have no problem with homosexual women, if two attractive women were making out, they’d cheer it on, some of them, anyway. We decided along the way somewhere that it’s impossible to be simultaneously gay and masculine, and add to that that obviously straight men, myself included, are repulsed by the idea of sexual contact with another man. I’m able to just say it’s not for me, but people are just fucking stupid and many think that anything other than passionate and public distaste for male homosexuality leaves you open for question. And we’re WAY too worried about being accused of it, even in jest, by hetero male peers. We’re dumb gorillas, bro, we do shit just for the “ooh-ooh-ooh, ahh-ahh-ahh, eee-eee-eees” and chest-beating approval of our fellow apes. Bottom-line: it’s hard for us to understand how men could be attracted to other men, and people fear what they don’t understand. Fear is one of our most powerful emotions, and so is shame. Some may fear (usually irrationally) unwanted advances from gay men, but most fear being accused and shamed for being gay themselves, not even in just their sexual proclivities, but more so just the colloquial perception of being effeminate or soft. Our egos, unless we’re in touch with ourselves, are responsible for assuaging our immediate psychological distress, and will even resort to the nonsensical to get us there. Fear and shame are “soft” emotions to many men, so it’s so much easier for our egos to channel those bad feelings we’re afraid to feel head on into “tougher”, more welcomed masculine emotions of anger or hatred, or at least disdain.

other factors, male homosexuality was illegal in until quite recently in a number of western countries, it still is in some 6th century countries.

Also the there is a huge lack of knowledge in some posts about being gay, as soon as anal is mentioned you are gay, even if you do it to yourself or have a girl do it, AND are not attracted to guys,,,,,

I dont know why this is so perpetuated in todays society. I have friends who are gay and think they are the most sociable people around. They dont try casting some spell on me nor do they become militant about their preferences. Most straight males I have known, friends or not, feel either the same or are totally indifferent. Yes, there are guys who are intolerant. But one can say that about anything. What I dont see brought up however is the percentage of women who, if they dont outright scorn same-sex relations, view it with private disdain. That section of society is as well, on a case-by-case basis. Now opinions are fine. But let's not exclude one gender over another as absolute unless facts exist.
Some men hide their inner homosexuality, others depend on religion to tell them what to think, others just don't like gays, others are actually homophobes, like scared. "Homophobia" isn't disappearing any faster with all of the pride parades going on. Most men aren't homophobic, they are just annoyed with all of this propaganda. For every time I get told to "accept gay people" I get more and more annoyed by it. I was already accepting gay people for who they are, but now I can't help but judge gay people. Just shut the fuck up about this topic, you're only annoying men into becoming "homophobic".
I do not want to generalize but, -men do tend to judge with words -women tend to judge silently and with their eyes... lol And I only say this because this is what I've got on the streets mostly (and it wasn't about sexuality) so perhaps it just seems to be that way, men are less likely to hold on whatever they have to say regardless, while women tend to be more considerate of others. but again, generalizations.
Because taking it in the ass feels good. Women can do it without much shame because they are supposed to like cock. But men assume it is humliating because it feels good pleasuring another guy's dick.
Gay women don't really have a humiliation conundrum to avoid, though.
I don't know why, but somehow two men doing sexual stuff is more disgusting than two women doing sexual stuff. And it's also confirmed by women. Women don't get turned on by guys making out or by gay porn, but almost all guys get turned on by lesbians. Also two straight women are much more willing to kiss each other than two guys are. So men can relate to the feeling of disgust much more than women can. And people tend to react very strongly to things that disgust them.
Because women are more into emotions, and therefore more prone to support people acting like victims, or who they consider as victims. Men are more logical. Whining doesn't get us as much as women. And honestly, when I see how toxic and entitled the LGBT community is, I don't tend to support it.
Well I'm pretty sure everyone here grew up with being gay looked down upon and with guys majority of us fear being seen as gay. It's why most guys don't like wearing pink or showing emotions. It's not what most are used to lol

Men tend to be more conservative in regards to the social/moral issues, while females tend to be the opposite. The many polls on this site consistently prove this. And there is no such thing as the term "homophobic". Having "holy Christian values" would be a pretty proper term.
