Disagree. Not even Captain America thinks that and he represents the greatest country in the world (at least, prior to 2011 and social justice warriors, that is).
I love (d) America, and really do think my home country has some of the best people and blueprint for government in the world. But these past ten years haven't felt very much like "America" anymore. You can blame the Democrats for that, but when the Republicans are cucked enough to let Democrats literally rig an election and brag about it to TIME mere months later and don't do jack shit about it, they're just as guilty as the "bad guys" on the left. "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." So you don't get to call yourselves the "cooler party" when you let a bunch of green haired, obese feminists and uber-cucks like Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey steal democracy from you. The old America would've fucked up ANTIFA and BLM to the point they wouldn't have dared to ever try the shit they did throughout 2020. America's lost its balls though, and after the radical far-left fucks us up the ass, China's coming in for sloppy seconds.
Anyone who swears undying allegiance to anything is a sheep and a tool, and nothing more useful than that. Think for yourselves, or end up with the 2020s America timeline. I'm sick of this reality. Where the fuck is Marty McFly at to go back and fix the timeline he fucked up?

I'm really happy to see at least the majority of people here said "strongly disagree". Patriotism is a stupid concept. So you'll defend your country if they're committing mass genocide with other countries? People with that kind of mentality have very low emotional intelligence and probably low overall intelligence.
Disagree, anyone who would support a unjustified war or anything wrong and takes it as being a patriot is only giving their country a bad image in my opinion.
Loving your country and being a true patriot is telling your government when they're wrong.
Disagree. I'm Chinese and for me to support everything my country and government does would be horrible! No I do not always support my country although I spent most of my life there.

I even know people, that support the same country and government, that steals from their resources: Pension money? Stolen. Labor budgets? Stolen. Security budgets? Stolen. Social aid and welfare funds? Stolen. Renovation/maintenance funds for the city? Stolen. Medical insurance programs funds? Stolen. Startup assistance funds or bankruptcy resolution plans? Stolen. Scholarships? Sometimes these are stolen too. The more people interact with the government or the more people depend on the government, the more people are being stolen from and left behind like a depleted juice carton.
And those people, that support this system are usually those, who've been stolen from (and let that slide or don't care) or will be stolen from. They're usually any combination of being broke, making minimum wages, are ugly or fat, watch TV and news, racist, breeders, dumb, use force to "solve problems", praise the government, live in crappy buildings or houses, that is infested with cockroaches or bedbugs. And they'll never pursue better standards of living.Absolutely fucking not !! When the government of your country goes down the wrong road, it's your DUTY as a citizen to speak up and tell those making the decisions what you think. As wise as Teddy Roosevelt was when he said " Patriotism means to stand by the country, not stand by the President", there's a big unanswered question: "who" or "what" exactly is "the country"? Congress? Congress plus the President? What if a vast majority of the populace disagrees with their chosen course of action? Do you, as a citizen, merely accept it? I think not.
Nope. This twisted ass way of thinking is why so many people worship the flag and get mad at people kneeling during anthems and why people feel so comfortable telling others to leave if they disagree with something. Blind loyalty is extremely dangerous.
That's the sort of bullshit sentiment that starts blood feuds and wars at the drop of a hat. When you support "wrong" unquestioningly, is when you legitimise unjust violence and crime under it.
No other country is more imprisoned than America. Not only does it have a prison population higher than some countries populations, but it's not half as "free" as it has pretentions of being. In the sixty s we said MY COUNTRY RIGHT OR WRONG.60 years I still say the same thing. For those of the people who do not like it please pack your bags and move to the COUNTRY whose laws and civil right you like. Ours do not need to be changed maybe tweaked a bit and I mean very. Not the crap Comrade s Biden , Harris and Pelosi are pushing.
It's not even a matter of government.
We all know that politicians can be a mass of corrupt mofos that should be hanging from light poles in the nearest town square, but the real culprit behind 5 years of social and economic grief are the people who allow themselves to be duped during the electoral period.
So I could never forgive my own people for making me spend 5 years in less-than-ideal conditions because of stupidity and gullibility. While I believe in the founding principles of America, that doesn't mean it is perfect, or that the leaders of the day are right or are following those principles. I can support the country overall without supporting actions or laws that are wrong. I also don't blame all citizens of a country because of their leadership.
Good question, I must say.
I have to say that I disagree with the sentiment, and I'd rather say ''I'd always support my country, not my government''. Countries can't be inherently wrong, but governments can and do wrong shielding themselves behind the country as a whole. If my country does something wrong, then it is wrong. First and foremost, morality has to be uphold, and it is not moral to defend what is wrong.
I love my country, I detest my government.
If given an unlawful order I'm required to disobey and report said unlawful order immediately.
Laws are not always right either.
I have to be able to act on my own conscience.
My motive is not to harm others but I will not allow others to harm my family, friends or any innocent stranger nor myself either. No I do not agree with that sentiment.
And that thinking is why politics are in the state they are now as well as the country itself.No. You can't claim it's your country if you let your government make you do something clearly wrong.
Obviously your representing the USA. NO... I would never represent that country. Occupiers of kidnapped lands over defensless countrys through murder , pilage , rape , terroristic threatning , war crimes , GMO genocides , political correctness , the absence of GOD , lies , deciet , betrayal and amid sexual immorality and the list continues.
And you undoubly right or wrong condone this?Well, I'm Canadian, and I hate my country, at least at the moment. Maybe it'll get better in the future, I doubt it. I feel like every country has a problem but Canada is pretty bad as a 1st world country.
Nope. Being a patriot isn’t blind loyalty. Being a patriot is loving and respecting your country enough to hold it to a standard and to make sure it’s at that standard, and criticize it when needed.
Blind allegiance to any entity is wildly irrational and dangerous.

I disagree. No matter how much you love your country, you should be able to tell when your politicians and your people are wrong.
That doesn't mean you hate it. You're very patriotic & are in entitled to your own opinion,& how you want to express yourself. Land of the free & the home of the brave 🇺🇲🦅
Just my opinion ✌️Nope. It doesn’t matter to me if it’s my country or not at the end I’m gonna support what’s right.
Supporting your country regardless of whether what it gets up to is right or wrong is what leads to war crimes and other atrocities.
