In other areas of the world, yes women still have it tougher than men but in the WEST, in CURRENT TIMES, men have it harder. 1. Men have to be the one to ask women on dates. 2. Men have to pay for everything on all dates. 3. Men hardly get sympathy when they are depressed. 4. Men have it way harder with dating, since women have more options. 5. It is way harder for men to get laid. 6. More things are good expected from men than women when it comes to jobs, etc. 7. If a man is a kind person (even when he is not being a pushover), people view him as a wuss. Many more reasons but it would take too long. And please don't tell me about women being victims of domestic violence or rape. That is horrible but most women are not victims of that in the West.

1. Pregnancy (which is a choice most of the time)
2. Periods and menopause.
3. They should get pregnant before certain ages if they want a kid, so they don't risk a kid having disabilities, etc.

1. Men have to be the one to ask women on dates. --- Bullshit. They don't "have to" do anything. But if you want a girl, that's what you do. You don't wait to see if she asks you.

Men are basically forced to ask women on dates and pay for everything on dates. If they don't ask women on dates, most of the time nothing will get anywhere with dating cause most of the time the woman would not ask a man out on a date. And when it comes to paying, many women claim they are ok with paying but studies have proved most are lying. Periods are sometimes each month. And menopause is only during a certain time period in a woman's life. And most women don't get raped in the west even though it is horrific. A lot of men get raped. They just report a lot less. The only thing women have it harder with is pregnancy since that is a whole 6 months. Everything else men have to deal with everyday or tons of times. Once again only talking about the WEST. Your problem could be that you don't like being a male !! In the human world, men are the pursuers 99% of the time. I'm not going to debate how much of that is societal or genetics, but that's the way it works. Yes its true that if you wait for a woman to ask you out, you better hope you click because it's few and far between. The only reason you perceive it as "tougher" is because you probably can't handle rejection well, and/or maybe you don't how to read a woman's unspoken language to know if you even have a chance. That's a skill you have to learn, but it's not as difficult as you think.

What happens elsewhere isn't relevant to whether or not they have it worse than men. In the West, they still make less money than men for the same work. Still are limited in how far they can climb the corporate ladder. Still are bound by sexist traditions and social practices.
