Two months ago I changed shifts and met this awesome guy at work. He's outgoing, positive, friendly, ambitious, and actually cute. Lately he's been noticing me more than usual. He notices when I'm upset or irritated and literally runs over to check on me. I catch him staring at me, when ever he's next to me he lingers waiting for me to acknowledge him.
The kicker is, I'm actually interested in him.
When I first met him, he talked about his girlfriend a lot. Now when ever I bring her up, he brushes over her and wants to get off of the subject. They just got their own place together. And I have no idea how long they've been dating.
She seems like a nice girl. She's got a cute figure and always has on a cute sun dress, or tank top, but she is a butter face, and her teeth are outlined in yellow.
The thing is, I live in the country, there aren't many men to choose from who are single, sober, and child free. Let alone meet any men who have any qualities beyond their penis.
And I am an above average girl in personality and looks. But the only men I ever seen are the slobs who live off of their significant others, or the sleazy men who make inappropriate comments. I have met a few sweet guys, and every time I initiate because they're too shy. I find that they have a girlfriend!
He just really seems like a catch, and I've never dated, because I've always been waiting for a decent guy to come around, and he seems like the one. I'm also just sick of being nice. Should I go for him?
