America has a ton of problems that most Americans aren't aware of. But it's not a threat to world peace.
America can start wars sure and often for bullshit reasons. But they have a vested interest in peace as well. They go to war when there's something to be gained, and large scale wars and conflicts don't have a lot going for them. Ghaddafi wants to bring in the gold dinar? Kill him and fuck up Libya. Saddam wants to move away from the US Dollar backing all oil movements? Well we gotta go change that regime and fast. Petrodollar's important.
But a threat to world peace? You need a government that doesn't see the value in peace or human life. And for that, you look at China.
China doesn't give a shit about human life. The Chinese people don't seem to give a shit about human lives. Put the BIG RED NUKE button in front of a Chinese general, and there's at least a good chance he'd press it just because.
I had the opportunity to learn a lot about China while working for the EU. None of it was good. I could tell you true stories that would convince you I was some racist sinophobic piece of trash, so I won't bother. But in my opinion, China is the biggest threat to world peace. Because they just don't care if we all live or die.

Is the list long enough for you? And this doesn't even included the many CIA overthrows of elected governments, especially during the cold war. If you look at that list, and still think China is a bigger threat to world peace than America, than you probably need good intense deprogramming sessions of the propaganda you've learnt from fake news mainstream media, and our politicians.
I'm not a China supporter by the way, I personally don't care about them. The only thing that angers me, is fact the Western sellout politicians through political donations has invoked free trade or lowered tariffs, allowing companies to move their manufacturing and offices to China and other 3rd world countries, for cheaper labor, meaning we lose our jobs, and China and those countries gain our jobs. But that's not China's fault. That's the fault of our sell out politicians, and population that votes them back in power every time.
@Achilles1 Okay, the UN isn’t under the control of the US or its’ puppets. EVERY country, no matter how small or powerful only has one vote and each vote is weighed equally at the UN, unless you know something I don’t. Moreover, if you’re going to use the laws of nature, the answer is yes and no. In North America, if we were to build a huge army, it wouldn’t trigger protests from Canada and Mexico because we’ve never gone to a war or at least a major conflict with them enough for them to register that we would ever use our military might to bully our neighbors to get our way– unlike what China has been doing for the past decade. As for Taiwan, yes I know it’s history, but by your logic, Vietnam is also a part of China’s territory then. They both have a separate form of government, its’ own currency, and military. Taiwan’s is also distinct from China’s. The reason why China does not press against Vietnam is because the Vietnamese can see right through the CCP and they are formidable. Even if it were truly a renegade province, in your mind it seems that it justifies the horrific nature of war?
@Achilles1 The business of Australia, the US, and the world is because Taiwan is an extremely strategic location (I suggest you too look beyond the “propaganda”). It will allow China to deploy their nuclear missile submarines WITHOUT being able to be detected by the US and its allies, attack Japan, Guam, and yes, that includes Australia as well. Additionally, TSMC is the most advanced semiconductor company in the world (the heart of the tech of the future). Earlier data files from the Australian military suggested back in I think it was in 2012 that China had subtly threatened or tried to coerce Australia into joining them over the USA. In their words, “the US won’t be able to come in time if something happens.”
Also, if you go even further, Australia was the first country to truly begin to fight against Chinese infiltration – this didn’t make the CCP happy. Then Australia banned Huawei and was the first country to do it. Finally, the Morrison government called for an independent investigation into COVID19’s origin and that finally triggered a trade war on Australia – pretty much over nothing. Can you really blame your country for being paranoid or nervous about China’s rise in the region?
@Achilles1 The list is not only not long enough, but irrelevant – America is no saint, but we never occupied those countries permanently nor do we steal land from our neighbors either at the Indian border or in the South China sea, unlike China. Moreover, Russian military reports note that China’s interests in Siberia are…”dormant” – think hard about that word. Lastly, their debt trap diplomacy is a form of neocolonialism because unlike the IMF, the USA, or the EU, if a country cannot pay back their loans, these nations do not ask for mineral or land acquisitions in return – at least to my knowledge. FYI, I don’t watch mainstream media – especially from the US. 90% of my reports and data come from outside of it.
Fun fact: it’s the CCP that is bribing our so called politicians to allow them to take jobs from our respective countries. The blame can go both ways, both on our shitty politicians for being traitors and the CCP for such infiltration.

Taiwan and Vietnam is different logic. Vietnam fought for independence. Taiwan however considers itself as China. It's official name is ''Republic of China''. Even the West, and if I'm correct the UN, also considered the Kuomintang in Taiwan as THE government of China, up until US president Richard Nixon, decided to change course, and recognized Mao Zedong's communists as the true ruling of China.
Don't get me wrong, I would want the anti-communists to defeat the communists in a Chinese civil war. However a People's Republic of China vs Republic of China war, is simply a civil war, rather than a imperialist war by Communist China. Therefore the U. S. not Australia has any business in a Chinese civil war between 2 ruling factions. You're argument that Taiwan is too strategic for the U. S. to stay out of, proves exactly who the threat to world peace is - America and Australia acting out of imperialistic interests.

As for the bribing of politicians, that may be the CCP on occasions, which is our own fault, not the CCP's for being smart, but it's also local private mega companies bribing our politicians through campaign donations, wanting to foreign labor, therefore getting our politicians to create free trade with places like China, therefore making it easy for those companies to send their labor work to China, pay cheap wages and make greater profit.

The US may be doing this at the UN, but reports also indicate that China is doing the same with their own debt ridden countries as well! Moreover – China holds far more positions in the UN then does the US…. No, the logic is the same because the Vietnamese were disgruntled Chinese that fled from China and created Vietnam – similar to the Taiwanese. Recall that Taiwan and China have been separated close to 70 years and like Vietnam, have an entirely different Constitution, form of government, currency, and military. It’d be one thing if it was only a few decades, but 70 years is more than enough to forge a whole separate identity. Taiwan hasn’t fought in a war yet with China for independence, but I think that there’s enough differences to justify that they are two separate countries. Your argument of not getting involved is odd when it comes to the CCP – imagine if the world sat on the sidelines and D-Day never happened? Also, your definition of Imperialism is odd as well. We are acting out of fear, not to gain territory or resources. Counterintuitively, China is being “imperialistic” as well then.
@Achilles1 American is no saint and we’ve made mistakes, but people who don’t study geoeconomics or geopolitics don’t understand certain realities: 1) if there is chaos in one part of the world – it could have a domino effect on the global economy, 2) we do almost all the heavy lifting (because no one else can or will) and because we are the sole superpower --- we also take the heat for all our actions --- yet, when we pull out of world affairs like the WHO, we get pissed on --- when it’s convenient many countries shit on us, but when they need us and we don’t respond they shit on us too….3) you don’t seem to understand ideological strategy (Democracies and Autocracies spread their version of governance to create “allies” in the future). Additionally, had America not intervened to stop the spread of Communism, Australia could have been under Communist control today, 4) UNDERSTAND, the only force that is stopping the CCP and the Russians from taking over many parts of Southeast Asia and parts of Europe is the USA, and 5) you’re looking at our wars too linearly.
Let’s start with the fact I haven’t done too much research admittedly into American and global interests in the wars you’ve listed, but I can tell you that for some at least, we were acting because we were attacked – 9/11 remember? How would your country react had you been attacked? Additionally, many of these nations were supporters of drug cartels and terrorist organizations. Iraq however, in my surface only level research, was only about oil because Suadam renegaded on an oil contract he had with the US. Again, we’re not innocent, but I guarantee you that if the US pulls out, chaos will ensue in certain parts of the world and there’s no telling how severe it could be or impact the world. If you guys want to go it alone against China, feel free man.
@Achilles1 Moreover, what you don’t realize is that where the CCP has gone, they’ve spread/increased corruption, reaped the resources, committed genocide (that’s a lot better right? The US has under their thumb, Western European, Central European, parts of Eastern Europe, and the Anglophone New World countries as basically their puppet states, and than the countries they give aid to. As for Vietnam, Vietnamese independence and fighting for it against the Chinese, goes back to ancient BC times. It's nothing like Taiwan. Taiwan is only calling for independence now, because the Republic of China (Taiwan), not only knows they cannot defeat communist China in a war and take power of China themselves, but nor will the West recognize them as the official Chinese government. If tomorrow, the West cut all ties with communist China, and went back to recognizing Republic of China (Taiwan) as the official Chinese government, like the U. S. did pre -1972, the Taiwanese government would gladly consider themselves as Chinese, and claim there is only 1 China, like have up until now. A People's Rep. of China vs Rep. of China war, is simply a civil war. Nothing more. Taiwan itself said there was only 1 China, and they're the official ruling government, not the Chinese. This has only changed now, because of the above reasons I mentioned.

@K0nse_rule Well Canada could have fallen at any time to the US. China wasn’t a player on the international stage until just recently. 20 years ago they were just starting to modernize. They were a regional power and certainly could not have stopped the US from taking over the 38 million people in Canada. Russia 20 years ago was broken badly and couldn’t do much nor would either of these two countries actually care that much.

People claim that North Korea subjects its people to indoctrination, I doubt that they can create the same kind of mentally enslaved moron like you, which America creates in mass production.
It's plain fact, that most of the people in the world, do not live under a really free government. In case you haven't noticed, people flock to America, not to China or Russia. There is a reason for this, and it's not just for economic reasons. It's also because we have a lot of freedoms in America. There are a lot of things I like about being an American, but the greatest reason is our freedoms, not our economy. You may deny it, your may disagree with it, but America has more freedom that the great majority of countries. That is what makes us great. Call is cold war, or whatever you choose, but America has what freedom loving people want.
It's funny because it's the opposite in my case. I'm going to leave America for China and don't plan to ever go back... Abstract concepts like "freedom" don't make my life better, living in a healthy society where I'm respected and having a stable job can make my life better... And guess what? China can give me these things, and I'll be grateful to them for giving me what America can't do.
If you wish to trade freedoms for work, then China is where you belong. Good luck to you. I prefer the freedoms of America, plus the good opportunities to work.
