Why wouldn’t transgender people exist? Doesn’t the existence of trans people make sense?

Question

In a world where the population is divided evenly into 2 groups that are quite different in very many ways why wouldn’t there be some that feel wrong on the side they were born as?

I was never happy being a boy and pretending to be rough and tough but once my cousin dressed me up as a girl and I saw my reflection I truly felt happy.

The issue isn't how you feel or how someone else feels.

It's whether someone can take life altering hormones or undergo life altering surgery, when they haven't been critically assessed by a psychiatrist who can properly judge if the issue is legitimate or a type of mental illness like body dysmorphia.

It's a relatively new area of study - and unfortunately, our over-bearing overly tolerant, "terrified of being considered a bigot" society has decided that anyone anywhere can just declare their gender to be X and we all have to agree with it, including their doctors and surgeons.

And that is going to lead to a lot of depressed suicidal youths who will eventually realise they have made a horrible mistake. And no one had the guts to tell them they were making a horrible mistake, because they were too scared of being called transphobic or a bigot.

As someone who owned birds, I never subscribed to the idea that anything other than genitals dictate make vs female.

Birds tend to vary, some male birds are camouflaged in drab colors, others are brightly decorated in what most would think are feminine ways.

So to me if a guy wears a dress he is still a guy.

Human allegory for this exists by comparing cultures too, like in scotland men wear skirts, in feudal japan or certain modern situations, they wear dresses, in the US it's pants.

Of course transgender individuals exist and they are completely valid. I don't understand the hate on them either. The big one I see is "you can't change how you were born" which is just baffling because they were born with the wrong genitalia is all and they absolutely can fix it. People can dye their hair, get breast implants, get tattoos, get face lifts, and a whole litany of body altering things done and we are all cool with that, but a transgender individual trying to align their outside with their identity is somehow icky and weird. It's complete hypocrisy.

Because if your god made people as they were intended, there would be no mistake and you wouldn’t feel like you were born the wrong gender. What that aberration of gender is, is a mix of genetics and possible mental disorder. No shame in that, but it is what it is.

It's not that you actually "should be" a girl. It's that you're not masculine enough to be a boy. You say yourself you didn't like being rough & tough. So as women have every right to be "gentle" and delicate you associate more with women than men.

It isn't that we don't exist; but the issue is that we can never be what we want to be. And that trying to placate our desires is only harming us in the long run. Not all of our (this applies to everyone) are good for us, others, and/or society as a whole. One of my desires is to murder people. That desire is clearly something that I shouldn't give in to.

It doesn't. In a scientific way, it's not possible. In a Biblical way, it's sinful. Pretending to be a girl, your emotional struggle will never go away. I'm not sure what happened as you grew up, but I feel badly. I do not like when you antagonize to try to argue in favor of your lifestyle, though.
