Many people were fools, and it really did seem more like a forced unauthorized tour of a government building. Yeah there was that one guy who came to try and capture people but he was a loser who didn't stand a chance.

Now if only the government would investigate the riots last year with as much efficiency to get everyone who vandalized government property in every state where they did.

This was not organized as it was pure chaos and many people never entered the building were still charged merely for being there.

If it was a real insurrection and if the majority of the tens of thousands of people who were demonadtating against the theft of the presidential election wanted to stage an insurrection there would be absolutely no question in anybody' mind what it really was.
The reality was that a couple of hunderd people staged a riot that was mostly peaceful in nature. There were no fires and very little damge. One unarmed woman was shot by a Capitol oloice officer for basically tresspassing andthe govenrment will not allow an investigation to determine if the killing was warrented.

I wasn't but I know some who were there. They were near the back (according to them), so they neither breached the perimeter nor entered The Capitol, they also left early. I don't know if that is true, but they did attend Trunp's rally on January 6. My view is that he's been building up tg he hatred of his supporters since 2016 and the January 6 speech was akin to throwing a lit match on a gasoline soaked newspaper. His speech then didn't cause it, but all of his speeches since 2016 led to it. Also there is documented proof of when his speech ended and he was back in The White House hours before the end. According to those who were there, they told Trump to try to stop the people at The Capitol and he did not. So that's why I said he did NOTHING, it's not absolving him. He could have tried to do something.
