I see many leftists try to talk about things and the ones -on here- for sure don't know what they're talking about 99% of the time. If we HAVE to have a democratic republic, which already a bad idea, we need to be very restrictive with voting. These are the requirements that I would put on voting.
* Abolish the "First Past the Post" voting system we have now and enact the "Alternative Voting". Everyone must vote this way for all governmental positions.
* You must own land that is at least 3,000 square feet.
* You must be at least 35 years of age.
* You must not currently have a mental illness.
* You must not be mentally lacking, which would be an IQ below 80.
* You must be a male.

I've said this before and I think most people are liberals, which would be most Democrats and something like half of Republicans, because most normal human beings don't have time for politics. I think it's more naivety and genuinely believing that history won't repeat itself. A lot of leftists simply don't believe that these incidents of violence and vandalism, and even government overreach have been happening. They hear about it and they laugh because they can't imagine how people who they agree with could do such terrible things.

Now for the second part of your question, as to why we guys, (I'm one person, not a crowd), are denying child rape and smuggling.
The smuggling part is usually associated with waterborne smugglers and the U. S. Coast Guard has been handling that quite efficiently. As for smugglers bringing people in via Mexico, that is why we have border patrol and until the REPUBLICAN's in the house and senate approve more appropriations to beef up the border patrol, those officers are working their collective asses off.
