The citizens of Israel have accomplished extraordinary things in the hard trek towards establishing and defending a State of Thier own. The concept of basing a national government on religions, racial, or ethnic identity may be in conflict with American Ideals for governing our free democracy here in America, but we have a very different history and cultural identity than Israelis do and it's not surprising that the two countries should be strong allies with each other, because the one commonality we do have in common and have given our blood and lives to defend, is our freedom, as free Israelis and free Americans. Both starting out the underestimated underdogs under British Authoritarian rule, we stuck to our guns and our principles, and earned that right of self determination and a citizen's right and responsibilities to govern and protect their land and home. In both cases, that freedom of self determination of government was not recognized overnight, or respected until many battles and political debates after the fact wore down the resolve of our oppressors to keep us under their political administrative thumb. We learn a lot from each other on developing ways to better defend our borders. America's UMV programs were advanced at least a decade by Israeli development in Ariel defense tactics against ground-to-ear missile weapons systems that could not previously be seen or DETECTED before Israeli aircraft were within the kill zone of thier weapons range of fire. For a long time SAM's had been as devastating to fighter aircraft pilot survival on reconnaissance missions, as they had been to American pilots along the Steel Tiger Trail in Vietnam. Israeli and American lives have been saved as a result of these shared technologies between our countries. The Native Americans were the first to live on their lands, and they have a history going back, THOUSANDS of years before the Torah!!! Then, some people came, and pushed them out. Just like in the Middle East! Wait, but in 1948, the Newly formed UN, just to FUCK with the Arabian nations, DECIDED to make a "Reservation" IN THEIR LANDS, and they called it Israel. SOOOOO much like how Whites spread across Native Lands, in what is now the US, and we made "Treaties" (a. k. a. LIES!) to put them into little states, on the shittiest lands! Do you see the parallels? WHO was the UN to create Israel, and WTF does something that THEY WROTE, in a scroll 2,500 years ago make a Land Grant, or Right to Land? I could write a fancy scroll, saying I own Washington, D. C. and my "god" said it was so!! But, LOL, GOOD LUCK in taking that control!! The Arabs are not BLAMELESS, in this!! YOU Punks LET THAT HAPPEN!! Yeah, you tried, with that little bit of Jock itch, in 1968, but they had already been there 20 years, and you guys couldn't get your collective shit together, to FIGHT A COMMON ENEMY!! There can NEVER be peace, in that place, and the UN, Ironically formed to foster peace, created a nation to perpetuate continual conflict!!
I believe I am right in saying there never was a "state" of Israel before 1947/8. That's the way it should have stayed. Messing with things like creating states and moving borders only creates big problems.
Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, none of these existed as countries before 1856 (Oman). They princedoms or various other small types of ruled lands.
I don't agree with Israel growing anymore than keeping the West Bank and the Golan Heights. If Palestinians would stop bombing Israel... yeah, that would be great.
You're right. Mostly it was around the end of the first world war that other nations started recognizing the largest tribes in the area and then they became more developed. That's very simplistic and lacking many details but it's basically how it happened.
There is no evidence that Israel had the borders you depict on that map. Judah and Israel were never fully unified and Judah was the larger and more powerful of the two nations. Also by your logic I'm entitled to a few miles of prime beach front property in Massachusetts and Florida based on my ancestors. No one has the right to evict the current citizens of a nation nor the destruction of that nation to regain some romantic dream of an ancient kingdom that once was. Israel is collectively guilty of the genocide of thousands of Palestinians. Two wrongs don't make a right. Just because the Jews were wronged did not give them the right to wrong another nation.
A Greater *insert state here* has always been used as an excuse to steal land that isn't yours and to rape, murder and commit a genocide against other people.

Listen to the U. S. by actually being a good ally and then Americans wouldn't hate Israel as much. Many Americans hate Israel right now and it is growing rapidly.
No need to worry about things that are of no benifit. Rather than focusing and eating your time on this go focus on making your own personal life better by having a good relationship, trying to be and stay healthy, working out, getting a good job and things like that. No need to busy ourselves with nothing and wasting time.
The other day I saw a picture of a Palestinian baby you killed. Its body was torn to shreds which looked a bit like spaghetti. It was like something out of a horror movie.
There was also a picture of a Palestinian teenage boy you killed. One of his arms was missing. His intestines were spilling out of the side of his stomach.
Palestinians, stop putting up buildings on Israeli grounds, Israeli's, stop destroying buildings on grounds you call yours. Learn to live together. You are all of the same race. Human.
As for Israel in its current form being brave by being surrounded by Muslim nations? Not really. Israel has established pretty strong pragmatic ties with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Jordan. For all intents and purposes, neither Syria nor Iraq are a danger either.
The only sustainable way for Israel to realistically thrive in the area is to be chill with its neighbors and arm itself for a potential war, which is what it is doing.
Basically, if they finish that bloody light-rail from Petah Tikva to Tel Aviv through Bat Yam is more useful to the state of Israel than occupying some pointless piece of Egypt
I've heard about this before. I feel Greater Israel or an expanded borders of Israel is inevitable. Even during peace-time. I guess all countries expand eventually.

You know what's a real shame? The fact you actually believe that.
