Europe tends to favour strong gun control which tends to mean farmers and criminals are the ones to have them rather then the public (or perhaps criminal farmers).

At most schools visitors have to check in at the office and if they don't it raises an alarm and classrooms can go into lockdown. The problem I see is teachers locked into their classroom that are sitting ducks. At least with a gun the teacher can "dissuade" some attacker to go find easier targets.

There is a very true urban legend that many women use the court system to not only completely destroy a man's life, they use it to make him an financially indentured slave to them.

Although they call it “divorce proceedings”, the outcome of the proceedings definitely have the same identifying marks as poverty stricken slaves of the early 1940s and 50s.
