I don't know about most people but I would assume some people would think that. The perception among many is that only unattractive trolls spend any time on the internet. as for "pretty women profile pics" if they're really pretty then that's okay, it's something nice to see the rare occasion I check a profile pic and I do not link or relate the pretty pic to the interesting you can be, so... fake pic or real pic does not matter much to me.

I think. its mainly to do with whst you post. For example if you haven't posted before and have a professional looking photo which looks like model, and you then ask a question like "what would you do to me?". The chances are pretty high that it's a catfish from Bangladesh

We intuitively know based on the aesthetics of the picture, it's not about being pretty or not. I mean I see pretty pictures of people here and I know intuitively that's really them, cuz they just look real, but of course I could be wrong.
