Does illegal immigration discredit the efforts of those that worked hard to come here? How do America’s older arrivals feel about the newer arrivals?

I attended my Grandfather’s old man’s group today and it was very sad hearing testimony from this 90 year old man who fled Soviet Persecution describing how he “hiked mountains” to become a US citizen and how he felt his efforts weren’t being honored.

And that’s one of the problems I’ve always had with illegal immigration.

It almost seems to dishonor the memory and efforts of those that worked hard and tried doing the right thing.
