I don't object to anyone feeling good about themselves but the very moment that you try to manipulate others into thinking that you are da bomb, I turn against you.
Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves but everyone also deserves the right to choose when they are attracted to.
i don't agree with it. if you're actively trying to get healthy tho, then fine enjoy your journey of loving your body. but don't be obese forever, please... being too fat or too skinny is never a positive thing.
It seems like it's directed only toward overweight women being proud of their bodies, instead of being inclusive of all body types.
Since it seems to be that it's mostly about promoting morbid obesity, I'd say my thoughts on it are similar to my thoughts on the pro-anorexia movement: seems like a bad idea.
It’s good, for overweight people and I mean women in particular. Not for skinny women because, despite everyone secretly loving their bodies, they are now seen either bony and unattractive or devils that caused people to hate all other types of bodies. Let me not mention us guys, what body positivity is promoted for males? It’s okay for a girl to be overweight and not care about what she eats but everyone wants a bodybuilder for a boyfriend... yeah, logical and totally understandable.
I think that’s definitely a section of people who interpret shaming girls of the natural beauty standard body positivity. I do not agree with that. And for men, literally all you need is good hair and a nice personality. As long as a girl is emotionally attracted to you, it’s not that hard to pull a girl. And most girls aren’t into body builders. However, there are definitely examples for all the things you listed. However, there are other situations that are contrasting.
Body "positivity"? Is that where they show REALLY UGLY PEOPLE on commercials?
I think it's good in terms of providing support for healthy change and instilling confidence to go through the process knowing there is support there. But celebrating obesity and overeating isn't a good thing
It can fuck off and go to hell because I'm still gonna fat shame people like it's 2003. Why should we accept lazyness? No. They need to get off their ass
😆😅
look at all the brainwashed pc sheep who think we shoul;d acept lazyness now
no one thinks for themself anymore, all heard mentality
if it became sociially and political to accept pedophilia would u? or would u be that 1 person who stands against it while the rest of society now thinks its ok?
thats how i feel about body positivity.. we should not be accepting bad things
Absolutely disgusting. It's one thing to have an understanding that not every man is a greek god and not every woman is of timeless beauty; but where we are today normalizes bad health and does nothing to encourage good habits.
Body positive for everyone even disabled

Eating Healthy properly through Macros, this is a lifestyle of eating. Not a regular so called diet.
Promoting low values. 🤢🤮 When people refuse to eat healthy and workout they look unattractive.
I'm 150 Pound's over weight, I'm confident, I love my body, but! I know I'm super unhealthy, Im currently in my I think 4th month on losing weight, I've lost 11lbs so far and I keep going 😊
you know something like 95% of all people who lose a significant amount of weight gain it back? And I know the reason why
Definitely support loving yourself but when it comes down to being provocative and calling it body positivity well then that's when i call bullshit.
If it means being respected and not being called nasty names because of features of your body that you can't control, them I'm all for it; if it means being called healthy when in fact you're sick, sorry, I'm not OK with that.
people should be comfortable to be themselves without having to celebrate mediocrity.
they celebrate mediocrity because they are uncomfortable with themselves.
That seems more like an American movement. Here you get teased if you are fat.
Typical French.
I think you can look beautiful/attractive at any weight, body or shape! The individual should decide what they want to do for health reasons, but that doesn't change that they should love their body!
When they started pushing for fat acceptance and calling those of us that aren't attracted to land whales fat phobic, It lost all of my respect..
I am mixed. On the one hand we shouldn't obsess over tye "perfect body". On the other hand, we should strive to be healthy and keep a relatively healthy weight the best we can.
Stupid, just encourages unhealthy habits. Its different when you do try to be healthy but you still are underweight or over weight in appearance. But thats because thats how their body is actually built naturally skinny ore naturally thick.
I draw the line at 400lbs calling themselves fluffy or curvy.
I think everyone should aim for a healthy body but its fine if you're overweight or skinny
Its good to make people feel better about themselves. Even if they need to be healthier. Happy people are more likely to improve than depressed people harass online.
No comfortable people find it harder to change.
@PoliteSpeaker and people being harrassed change more?
Much of a muchness, tbh.
Why the hell would you gatekeep over how someone looks anyway?
its all a lie. obviously fat people should be ashamed of their body. it encourages healthy lifestyles
I think positively. Everyone is copying each other nowadays. We are tired of the so-called uniform perception of beauty, because everyone has an inkwell nose, is as thin as a board, and has a lot of aesthetics.
#NormalizeNormalBodies.
It's good to feel comfortable in your body but they should also promote having a healthy lifestyle and aspire to look and feel your best.
Diabetes doesn't care about your feelings. Neither do heart problems. Do the work, lose the weight.
No amount of mental acrobatics makes being overweight a good idea.
I want to lose weight
Then call yourself fat. Because nothing ever gonna change until you are uncomfortable with the problem.
@PoliteSpeaker not everyone who wants to lose weight is fat..
Oh I can help you with that
I support body positivity while also supporting the encouragement of trying to get better for health purposes. You can be overweight and underweight and still be appealing but you should get better for the sake of your health.
Fat is fat and it’s not healthy. People are too lazy to lose the weight so now they’re making excuses and tying to push the notion of “being gay is the same as being skinny”. It’s fucking not.
Fat*
my opinion is that bullying or making fun of someone's body is never ever ethical , moral behavior.
Anyone has the freedom to do whatever to his body if he doesn't hurt himself and his body.
pc nonsense run a muck, being overweight is never healthy.
They are so far off that they're celebrating unhealthy behaviour.
Body positivity is always knowing that there is always room for improvement and be happy with your progress, not to be happy with the way you are
Or at least that's what it SHOULD be.
Yeah, exactly! I think actual body positivity is just loving yourself throughout the journey, even when making change to be healthier.
I think it’s cool but there is a limit like someone that is 600 pounds should not be told that they are living a good lifestyle
Be positive about people that treat their body well. To each their own. If you like fat people, go tell them how well they ate an entire family sized bag of chips with no help.
I'm big fat and ugly... don't get much more positive than that :)
I'm all for it, there are many different types of beauty
My thoughts are just get it done and workout and be positive
Fat is not healthy regardless of how you feel about it.
As long as I can get my cock in between her legs.
It is good that everybody loves oneself. Your should like your own body.
But nobody can tell me what I have to like.
I don't think a movement is going to help that. You either feel good about your body or you don't. You just have to be honest with yourself.
Evidences of psychos trying to satisfy their instincts
Conflicted. I can see it from multiple perspectives.
The girl on the left is healthier, that should sum it up.
Coming from a Guy, I think it's pointless because they usually only talk about Women.
I like it. But being unhealthy fat or ungealthy skinny shouldn't be body positivity
Same as my thoughts on the alcoholics positivity movement
That exists? lol jesus
@Dnc873 It doesn't exist, I was just making a point. We should not be encouraging people to be proud of their lifestyle problems; we should be encouraging them to change them.
Oh I gotcha haha. Hey this shit has gotten so out of hand it's hard to recognize the joke, the "alcoholics positivity movement" sounds like it could get some traction today
Kinda dangerous and expensive. I mean being overweight bring heart disease, heart attack, stroke. Plus hard for some to fit in a airline seat.
Its basically the fat acceptance movement. If you want to be fat be fat. But dont force me to like it or accept it.
Lazy fat girls and guys in denial.
It's the same thing with the lgbt movement.
Nobody says anything but we all know it wrong.
Hahaha yeah
Sometimes it feels nice to have a chubby girl sit on your lap
Just like my thoughts about cancer positivity movements
There’s no such thing as the perfect body. We all have different body types, as well as differences in what we find attractive.
Seems to be condoning being fat , lazy and unhealthy unless it’s something you can’t do anything about
I think if it makes the person feel good about themselves, it is a good thing!
My ex did not have legs and vagina, was more like a hole cause of an accident, was not a problem.
