I would say that people who drive Tesla's are people who do not enjoy driving, or want to virtue signal to their peers how much they care about the environment but don't want to drive a cheaper electric sh*tbox and be mistaken for a lower-class woke hipster peasant.

In all seriousness though, that's not much of a stretch. People who want to have fun driving cars don't buy Teslas, and at least where I'm at, pretty much everybody who drives them is the wife of a doctor or lawyer trying to impress her gal pals who all drive either Tesla's, Range Rovers, or Cadillacs. While the charging infrastructure for teslas has been expanded greatly in the last couple years, the novelty seems to have stagnated.

Jay Leno has one. They are pretty sweet. I think eventually electric is the way to go. They are not there yet but in ten years there will be a vehicle with a 500 mile range that can recharge in less than an hour.
