I mean, if they're actually producing milk, then no. And it can happen. Cis men are capable of lactating as well. Sometimes it happens on it's own, and other times pills can induce it. I don't know if the hormone supplements that trans women take can allow them to lactate, or if there are other things they could take to cause that.
If I was the parent I would be a bit worried about the nutritional value of any milk produced though. But then again, women who have never been pregnant can breastfeed adopted children, so who knows. I would ask a doctor. I might also be worried about the effects of any hormone medicines that the trans mother might be taking.
If they're not producing milk, then I would think it's a bit weird. I'm not sure if it would impact the kid though, as long as they're still feeding the baby. Plenty of babies nurse more for comfort than actual nutrition half the time anyway.
Also, I've seen that picture before. That isn't a trans woman in the picture. That's a trans man. He has a uterus, and got pregnant, and carried and then birthed the baby in the picture. And then he fed said baby. And I don't see a problem with it.
It’s fucking ridiculous. People need to learn the realities of what they would like to be. Totally unfair to adopt or bring a baby into the world and educate them about your life the wrong way. If you are a trans and want to parent you really need to be 100% honest to your child about your life. People don’t understand that the way you raise your child, is the way they learn and act in their adult lifetime. In my book, it’s child abuse.
So I did a reverse image search on that picture. That guy is a trans man (born female) who gave birth to that baby. He is still able to produce breast milk so that baby actually is nursing
Absolutely! If any person gets a child to suck on an intimate part of their body for purposes other than feeding them, that's sexual abuse. This is the case regardless of whether the person identifies as trans, male, female or a bloody unicorn. It's NOT OK to use children's bodies to gratify and validate your identity.
babga baby shouldn't remember being breastfed anyway and a nipple is a nipple it's not going to cause repressed memories these men that dissaprove are just sad. There are more important ethical questions when it comes to integrating trans people than something no one remembers. And goddamn if you remember being breastfed then your mom was not doing her job, you should get that addressed first.
