You think false allegation is so rare and most of them are "true" is because the convicted are the ones expected to prove they're not a rapist which is a harder thing to do than to simply accuse. If rape is not really take that seriously, there are so many experiments that people springs into action when rape occurs (specially if it's a woman being the victim) because that's often seen as a heinous act. And if you really like to claim many rapist like majority of them do get away with it, how do you even prove if they're truly rapist? I can also tell you that you should also be worried about the fact that many false accusers get away with it. The duration of how long that false accuse victim had been in jail can be a good indicator of how many maybe falsely accused. A lot of the times, they're proven innocent 10-30 years later. That's a very long time so you can just imagine how many of them haven't reached 10 years of even a year in jail is already a long time specially if you're such a busy person. So yeah are you just gonna downplay that issue and add some more punishment that doesn't even change anything? Because a rapist that "gets away with it" can also get away with mandatory circumcision. Because anyone looking for creative ways to torture them are also the ones being lazy at looking for creative ways to catch them.

Although such punitive action might be pleasing to some emotionally, it would be disastrous for society.
As current understanding of the behavior states, rape isn't a sexual act. It's an act of violence, expeessing need for dominance that is manifesting with the veneer of sexual desire. Cutting of the dude's junk would only make him even more dangerous too society. And give him an additional unavoidable reminder of how he's been persecuted by society. You'll take the average rapist and potentially turn him into a super villain, a serial killer who I might add, got 100% of his license for inflicting mayhem on us, from us. Because we chopped his junk off.
That is a horrible idea. A lot of people convicted were later found to be innocent by irrefutable DNA test and a couple of times, years later after the accuser confessed that she lied. Furthermore, no one that rapes believes they are going to get caught so it would offer no crime reduction benefit. In the past, draconian punishments have never reduced crime and it was tried in the middle ages and earlier.
What prevents crime is the near-certainty of punishment; not overly harsh punishments.
Yes, they should be castrated. Though maybe after the third time? Since that is kind of a harsh punishment. So I wouldn't want that to happen to someone who was falsely convicted. There would be a much less chance of them being falsely convicted 3 times in a row. Also, juries might be more likely to not convict if that was the punishment and they were afraid of making a mistake and getting it wrong. I would rather have the conviction happen with a lesser punishment (50 years in prison, for example) then have no conviction at all. The victims need and deserve justice.
If a jury is hesitant to convict due to a harsh penalty like the death penalty, they should be equally as hesitant to convict if the penalty is life in prison.
