I am 21 years old, a college student, and am in dyer need of a job, and a place to stay asap, and to help take care of my family. My family's house has been foreclosed, and amongst a plethora of other problems we have been facing, income is very crucial, along with health right now. A dear friend of mine, suggested I take the test, since my major is Chemistry, although I may change that again, just kidding! I have researched some prices, and as I am broke, I want to make sure I fully understand everything, before I invest in something with money I honestly do not have. Is there a number or government resource that I can access to find out more information or is there anyone here I can speak to, who have been through this, and has found success? I reside in NJ btw... Thanks, all feedback is encouraged and welcomed, but I'm very serious. :)
I took the OSHA 30, passed with a 92%. But I took the actual course... are you not going to bother with that? I suppose you could still pass. It's not very hard, much of it is common sense about safety. There are some weird terms I had never heard of, though.

Don't the OSHA 30 hour classes just prepare you to take the test? I wouldn't expect it to be difficult at all, of course it depends also on your level of experience in the work world.
