I have pretty much the same "I dont care" attitude towards the people who develop this illness. I did change my mind about the scum that uses ill people to push crazy ideology. And the ones destroying children's lives. There are a lot of people in medicine who should be arrested and punished severely for the irreversible damage they caused to underage people with suspected disphoria.
Yes it has! My brother is actually transgender and it took me along time to understand what he was going through and accept it. I thought it was a phase to begin with and I really struggled to put myself in his shoes and at the time there weren’t many resources online and all to help me understand. But seeing all the hardship he has had to go through and how strong he is has made me change my mind. He knows I’ll always love him and support him no matter what.
I could care less what they do, that is their personal choice.
My only issue is when they expect or demand I change my ways for them. That is not going to happen, that is never going to happen.
I will respect them as another human being, but they don't get to choose what I call them. Just as I do not get to choose what someone else calls me. I believe in live and let live.
Nope, still fell the same about it. My only peccadillo, if you want to call it that, is that trans women shouldn't be competeing against natural women in sporting events where awards are handed out for the best one. Have a whole new section for trans athaletes.
i have no problem with transgenders, its what came after it that i have a problem with. pick a gender and go with that gender damn. i have no patience for jelly fish nonbinary people
also I'm extremely pissed off Ellen Page. or Elliot whatever she calls herself now, I can't believe someone would go that far at destroying themselves.
I think the extreme mainstream exposure has taken it's toll on the youth, confusing the shit it of them, creating a problem for many young people. Personally i used to be accepting of them but I grow more resentful toward them as their shit is shoved down my throat more and more day by day. It's annoying.
I've always had a very open approach towards the LGBTQ+ community. I don't ever remembering having negative thoughts towards transgender people so my opinion still stands the same, I support transgender people no matter what and I always will.
It's a mental illness and the way its treated is akin to encouraging a schizophrenic to listen to his voices. I'm not sure why these two mental illnesses are treated so differently, but the false empathetic response only ends up with trans people hanging in their room at the age of 30. Because in the end it doesn't matter how many people reject their false identity, the one person they have to convince is their body and the body will never be convinced to be that what it is not.
I am more accepting of them than I used to be but I still don’t like stuff like preop mtf trans people using women’s bathrooms or mtf people who transitioned after puberty playing women’s sports
@Koneko911 they still have penises. Although I suppose if they look like women it would be just as awkward for them to use the mens room. And they’re aren’t enough trans people to build them their own bathroom.
I fully support trans gender people but I don't approve on them requesting on having separate restrooms compared to everyone else. What they make them so special to demand special treatment, also I generally think we should create a new special Olympics for trans athletes so they can officially have their own sports to compete in. I just don't think it's fair having trans women compete with biological born women.
I see them the same as I always have a pseudo woman or a pseudo man..
My only real issue with them is when they bitch about not being able to get the gender of person they want because most men want real women, because they want to reproduce, and that simply is not possible with a trans person.. Or when they lie about their status when dating, and play victim when the guy kicks them to the curb when they find out..
I have not changed my view on transgenders, Its basically 'Live and let Live'. but I have concerns over those Doctors and other medical professionals who are 'treating' minors without adhering to The Harry Benjamin Protocols, riding roughshod over them if not ignoring them completely
Nope, still the same. They're what they're born as, and anything else they could pretend is a delusion or a mental illness. Replace male/female by any other noun... I don't know, chair or Napoleon, and see if it still makes sense.
"I identify as a chair". "I feel like I'm in fact Napoleon". See. Sounds stupid. And yet the same logic applies. "I feel like..." "I identify as..."
I don’t feel that a trans woman is the same as someone who was born a woman. The life experiences they’ve had are too different. Trans women seem to think they can relate, but they really can’t.
nobody's sexual preference is my business. everyone should be the way that they are happy. i totally support everyone who is brave enough to come out but i also don't think of them as different from everyone, they are like everyone else in my eyes.

I use to be indifferent. Now I don't care for the subject. It's basically for carnies.
I hate that so many teenagers think they are trans. It's dumb.
I am not against the adults who do it on their own, for themselves. I just don't want to hear about.

not at all I am still on the same page as Ben Shapiro on this one

What's wrong with them using the women's restroom...

Ok here's my opinion on the matter as someone whos actually trans: bite me, idgaf what anyone thinks of my identity other than myself.
I fully support trans gender people but I don't approve on them requesting on having separate restrooms compared to everyone else. Also transmen can't compete with biological born men too, it's would be incredibly unfair.

Hasn't changed but my annoyance level has gone up quite a bit.
I've pretty much always been ok with it. Though the first time I really learned about it was through dating a trans person so that helped.
Sounds pathetic. Dont worry
I been there too
Wasn't pathetic

Exactly!
How can a person born in a body of one sex comprehend what it is to be a person born in the body of the opposite sex.
I was born in a male body. I will never know what it is to have a real female orgasm, be pregnant, give birth and have the mother/child bond.
A person may not be happy with his body. That is body dysphoria.
Ita a man
No suchthing as a trans womam
