What hobbies do you associate with very intelligent people?

I would say, learning a new language, hiking and tennis activities, computer programming, home made activities such as furniture making, hockey and fishing and camping and cooking. Everybody cooks, but some people cook like old grannies and some people cook like Michelin chefs. I also know a lot of intelligent people with side businesses. Both of my married cousins near by had their own businesses while working full time jobs. My uncles in North America all had investment properties and renters for their home. My parents had a side business while working full time. My uncle has a medical practice and an art creation business where he earns over $200 an hour painting portraits of horses.

Anything they enjoy. If you’re smart you do what you love regardless of what other people think of it.

Highly intelligent people can realize that they don't need to prove themselves to anyone with a smart-sounding hobby and can instead pursue anything they personally enjoy, same as anyone else.

Intelligent people are very boring. Mainly as they are "intelligent" because they are 90% committed to their art and intellect, hence have little time/experience for anything else.

Now, I'm talking about those top 10% of people who really are smart. Not your average jackass "internet intelligent" who think they solved a Mensa thus are Einstein's heir.

It's what makes life hard for savants, and can be a curse for many of them. Think of it like being in a sports car with little experience and help and you can't get off either. It can be quite lonely.

Very intelligent people don’t tend to stick with the same habits. Being highly intelligent you are generally very curious and you continue to learn new things in many different fields to keep from getting bored...

We can be quite normal in our interests.
A high level of intelligence adds curiosity, creativity and inventiveness to otherwise common activities;
except for the most dull ones... such as collecting stamps :)
