To flush the toilet with the toilet seat up is hella fucken nasty allowing all the shit and piss particles to float all over the place in the bathroom. So if I go to the bathroom and notice that the seat is already up, I know someone flushed the fucken toilet with it open.

Common courtesy would have you put it down since ALL family members use it this way at some point.
