For all practical intents and purposes, the UK IS a democracy- a parliamentary one, granted, but still. The whole idea of "royalty" is anathema to democracy as an idea, but it can work as a governmental system, even if it's not really accepted as a social one. I don't them going away any time soon.
Definitely not a President, that’s just moving from a democracy to having some fuckwit with a load of powers.
it’s then also another level of bureaucracy.
Or having a fuckwit as Prime Minister
@EnglishEuropean yeah, however his powers are limited
Also it’s fairly easy to oust a crap one
I'm trying.
Britain is an example of constitutional monarchy. Im not sure if the monarchy would exist in a few years, because there seems to be a lot of tension amongst the family members
Option c, i dont know
What century are we in? Monarchy must come to an end today, whether de facto or figurative. A state should be a state of law, not a family state.

I can see the Monarchy lasting, but not parliament. Our mps have caused so much shit, I can see people getting pissed off. During the faffing around with Brexit, and constant attempts to cancel it, there was talk of scrapping parliament.
Simples...
If the alternative is a President Johnson, keep them.
Or president Corbyn.
I'm American, so it doesn't matter, because we're independent from them.
Generally speaking, though, I don't have a negative view of the monarchy.
It will last.

Oh yeah, Biden or Trump. That's just what we need.
