In other words, eventually that the UK would just allow it's four countries to go their separate ways as independent countries. Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England. I for one just wonder since below the surface there sure "seems to be" a lot of insistence on local languages and local cultural norms that, I just wonder myself how long can English or English norms reign supreme lol over time. I'm not a fan of bilingual countries as I find one language hard enough lol, my own English, lol. And no im not English. I just speak English, lol.

No, a firm no, I don't believe nor desire a united Ireland. Northern Ireland is the only awesome Ireland because it's Protestant (or just not Catholic, no offence), and it's monarchist 👑👀

They've said that if Northern Ireland asks to leave, they'll let them go; I don't doubt that they'll make doing so fairly unpleasant, but I also don't doubt that they'll do it. I suspect that they'd stay independent, if only briefly.
Scotland's trickier; they're better able to sustain themselves economically, and they already fought their way to freedom once. But even if they broke away, they'd never get into NATO or the EU, since Spain would block it for fear the Basques would try the same thing.
Wales has a better defined cultural identity, but isn't really wealthy enough to gain much, practically speaking, from separating.
What I find more interesting is what's going to happen when the "independent" nations, like Canada and Australia, that still have the queen as their sovereign, start leaving that behind. Elizabeth and Charles are both in touch with reality, but that might not be true with the later generations, and if you dissolved your ties with the UK parliament...
The only country that should be pushed away from the mix, is Northern Ireland, it makes more sense uniting Ireland as a whole. For Wales, they could not stand alone and would just want hand outs from the EU, that is just constant noise and likely everyone know it. Scotland is a harder choice, potentially they could manage alone, however they would need EU cash to make it more attractive for companies to relocate there. As for English norms, what are those? Each area in England is different. It’s not like everyone would drop English as a language, yes north Scotland does have Scottish Gaelic speakers but not a huge amount, yes Welsh is spoken a lot. For Scotland I think how the SNP has turned out and their current leader has likely made the majority of Scotland not to think about being an independent nation.
Scotland and Wales are inconsequential. I think Ireland should unify and the UK should cut them loose.
