+1 yBroad answer: the longer I live, the more I realize how dangerously close we are to a 100% idiot inventory in humanity. Not everyone’s a complete idiot, but most of us seem to be some varying degree of idiot in one way or another, or most likely, in many ways. The days where I expect wisdom, good behavior, or even good faith from humans are long in my rearview mirror.
More narrow answer: people just like to shout things, it seems, lmao. Propose an issue, and everyone can’t wait to get their “brilliant” opinions in on it. The human mind is either very overrated or very under-utilized when it comes to critical thinking. I think our brains look for easy solutions that fix surface issues, rather than difficult, time-consuming ones that might actually solve something. People love to virtue-signal, I think it has some positive psychological effect on them. And near-everyone virtue-signals, whether you’re a liberal yelling about how not-racist you are, or a conservative yelling about how much you love America…. it’s all virtue-signaling to their respective tribes. On less-political stuff, like what you’re talking about, I feel like people feel as if they aren’t going hard enough if they don’t take it a step further than supporting something and outright condemn the opposite. I can easily envision a scenario with some dude telling a curvier woman that, not only is her body beautiful, but the antithesis of her body is the antithesis of beauty….”is this how simping works? Are we gonna do sex soon?”🤦♂️😂00 Reply

See, I believe in a free society where people can do whatever the fuck they want. You can be obese and die from a stroke, you can be fit and live for 80+ years, or you can be in between. However, understand that just because you have the right to be obese, that doesn't mean that you have the right to shame men to find you attractive. I personally wouldn't go out of my way to tell someone that they are overweight, because they most likely know that. My problem then is when you sse the image of "plus size models" constantly shoved down our throats, like we're somehow supposed to date them, and if we don't then we're "fatphobic". Same goes for extremely thin women. Do what you want to do, but please don't complain. The number of guys who would have something to say about it is the minority, as most of us just know to avoid these women without the need to express our opinions of them.

I’m not complaining about men that logically speak like you did, I am saying men that go out of their way to call women “skinny twigs” or “fat, obese and lazy”
- +1 y
Yes I do agree with your comment. I am in dietetics and I wish celebs would stop glorifying a lot of things that go against health. You have 90% of America thinking keto is healthy. You have obese people thinking they are inferior to medical conditions because looks are more important. You have anorexics on social media that can’t get the proper help they need because people glorify their bodies
- +1 y
Over 70% of American society is overweight or obese, men and women alike. See, for men we already know that if you are a dude that's fat, you will be the butt of all jokes. I have friends that have made great transformations, and I'm proud of them for that. For women, it's different and people get offended. If they can't handle it, I don't say it. Simple. If I don't say it, that doesn't mean necessarily I'm not thinking it, but not all thoughts are worth saying. Ultimately, losing weight should be a self-motivated journey. Sure, sometimes judgement from others can act like a catalyst for the strong-minded individuals, but those that cannot handle that will probably develop some mental health issues, which is why perhaps it's not the best way. Ultimately, the Obesity epidemic is out there due to misinformation, and the fact that most people just don't really seem to take health seriously. How many people you know get drunk on Fridays? With all the negative effects of alcohol? Lack of activity? Processed foods? Nobody seems to care. Case in point, you can choose a lifestyle that has a net negative effect on your health and all would be fine, as long as you don't push it on others and try to normalize it.

I was raised to think that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. But the undeniable degradation of the world around me convinced me that silence and appeasement was a mistake. Allowing degeneracy to proceed unchallenged only encourages it, allows the perpetrators to become further deluded, and misleads the silent majority into believing they are a minority. The people who told me that tolerance was a virtue were gravely mistaken. We've got a lot of catching up to do to get the world back on track.
00 ReplyWell define body shaming, because I've know girls who "dick shame". I dont kind curvy girls or girls with some meat on them at all! I think it can be sexy, but being unhealthy or obese or WAY too skinny like anerexic isn't really all that attractive. Becaus it shows that someone doesn't want to take of themselves. If your gonna choose to be unhealthy then people are gonna react. You have the ability to choose how you want to take care if yourself. And to be completely honest, i think its utter bs that the media n celebrities are promoting being unhealthy. Because our kids n future generations are going to think that's ok. Go watch the movie idiocracy and you'll see what i mean lol

What you just said isn’t body shaming lol. It’s like when men call women “skinny twigs” in exchange for liking thicker women
- 4.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yIf men are body shaming certain people then they are standing up for body shaming. If they were standing up against body shaming they wouldn't themselves be body shaming anyone.

Yeah okay.
+1 yUm, I don't know. Fat people attract fat people. Unattractive douche bags attract hot chicks, what is the meaning of life? Asking questions that cannot be answered.

Like a man calling skinny women “disgusting” or “skinny twigs” in exchange for liking bigger women
- +1 y
Oh you mean assholes? Well either they think they are flirting or being playful or they have not been raised to respect others. Unfortunately words hurt so many times they throw them out not understanding the impact
- +1 y
However I am not attracted to obese women so believe I can tell someone they are unattractive if they asked my opinion. Words like fat and disgusting and others do more harm than good.
- +1 y
I agree I’m just confused on why some men really body shame the body types they aren’t attracted to , to try and make the body type they are attracted to worthy
- +1 y
Could be for many reasons. Some may have been raised in a toxic environment and are mimicking their parents or other role models. Some hear these insults in music and entertainment so feel validated to tell others. Some think they are being bluntly honest and think their words will motivate someone to change their appearance. Some are insecure themselves and will bully others to feel some power they can’t get internally. I mean lots of reasons if that’s why you asked. Plus obv gag is full of trolls who want to make others feel negatively
319 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes I do have insight kylee. You cannot get angry bc a man prefers a thicker woman which you said are "fat slobs who eat all day until a heart attack" over a slimmer woman. You are the body shame and you tried to play victim
134 Reply- +1 y
I never said I was mad that he liked bigger women, I am personally offended that you are sticking up for a man that calls skinny women “disgusting” and “skinny twigs” in exchange for his attraction. I never body shamed. I said she was at an unhealthy weight. But go ahead and be the dumb twat that doesn’t stand against men that body shame
- +1 y
Thank you for just snitching on yourself. And no I didn’t call them anorexic, I said I had anorexia in the past you fucking dumb ass
- +1 y
Yes he did. I’ll copy and paste too
- +1 y
Quote on quote from @Mcheetah “That is FAR from unhealthy. Just because white people like stick-thin bodies, don't mean everyone needs to be a f*cking twig to be attractive. You people act as if she's 400+ pounds or something.”
- +1 y
@BlckGrl
Look, I'm just going to put an end to this here. The girl was talking shit to the one posted here, and trying to imply any woman with curves must be some obese slob who eats fast food all day and is going to die of a heart attack any day now, without knowing anything about their background or diet. I've actually seen that girl's Instagram and she has a fat ass and not a big stomach. She's THICK. She's not obese or else, she'd have a huge stomach.
kyleelyn199723 clearly has a stick up her ass, and it's obvious she's insecure. She accused me of "feeling ashamed" of girls I like, which comes out of left-fucking-field, and then claims I'm "weak willed" for some bullshit reason I can't understand, either. It's projection, because I can't think of any logical reason for her to say that otherwise. Also, she stated her height and weight at 4'11", 130 lbs, which puts her in the average range. She definitely isn't thick. And based on her other comments on GAG, she also isn't curvy and claims her "white boyfriend" doesn't mind her body.
Normally, I wouldn't care, but she claimed I'm "a weak individual" when she's the one who started talking shit and implied all overweight people "should be ashamed" of themselves, including all people who are into them, as well. So that bitch can fuck off with that.
She sounds a petty mean girl who tries to get fat women to kill themselves in high school. Used to witness people like that all the time on Reddit. If I wanted to talk shit about her, it'd be obvious. But instead I'm just going to kick her out of my life and move on. If I truly gave a shit, I'd continue arguing with her "ew, fatties are gross" grade school bullshit.
I'm not even saying it's "okay" to be overweight. I'm losing weight myself. But she was clearly attacking the girl in the picture based on her looks, and not her horseshit about "being unhealthy." As if she gives a shit about health while using words like "shame." - +1 y
@Mcheetah quote Also, don't expect white men to say Yes to this question. White people notorious hate curves on women. If a girl is over 130 pounds, they call that "fat" for some reason, but if a girl has the body of a 12 year old and is as flat as a board from chest to ass, they think it's the hottest thing ever. It's VERY annoying... 🙄
- +1 y
Let’s quote you now : “Exactly but put a girl up there with no body at all white dudes call it a 10”
- +1 y
@Blkgrl idc what he has to say. There’s other men on the other forum that went out of their way to call @Mcheetah a retard for fighting against who he is attracted to with the terms “twig”
- +1 y
@Blkgrl except I never called her an obese slob 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ that’s a quote you pulled out of your ass
- +1 y
I never said anything you just said but thanks for deflecting to try and make me look wrong
- +1 y
Nope I never said any of that. You pulled that straight out of your ass and you know it
- +1 y
Nope, I am not insecure I am confident that’s why I stand against men that body shame
- +1 y
You can’t even quote for quote me where I said that 🤷🏻♀️
- +1 y
You can’t actually quote what I said yet I just quoted exactly what you and him said 🤷🏻♀️
- +1 y
Nope I’m not insecure hun, I just don’t accept men body shaming in exchange for women they are attracted to
- +1 y
And you still aren’t willing to quote the actual convo I had with him and you 🤷🏻♀️ I wonder why
- +1 y
I pulled the race card on both of you for making racist comments about white people that I actually just quoted 🤷🏻♀️

- +1 y
By men*
- +1 y
But you still aren’t quoting exactly what I said during those convos yet , again I wonder why?
- +1 y
You are so sure that I am the one that body shamed, so go back in the convos from last night and quote me
- +1 y
It’s taking you a long time to quote me, I wonder why 🤷🏻♀️
- +1 y
@Blkgrl interesting that you accuse me of saying such things but when it’s time to quote me you are no where to be found. Fuck you and your momma

Like a man saying a woman is “fat and unattractive” or a man that calls skinny women “disgusting”

I agree. If they aren't asking for an opinion (like many do on here..."how do I look"...) then it is rude to go out of your way to go tell them you dislike their look.

But you still have a preference i how someone looks

One hour ago you called someone attentive here on gag. How could you make that decision if you don’t have preferences in appearance?

You married your wife. Was she your type or do you not call her beautiful?

Just be honest. It’s ok to be honest here. See ya

Nah body shaming is literally a problem to many women. I stand by women 🤷🏻♀️
Opinion Owner+1 yLet's be honest you just have an anti male agenda.
- +1 y
Nah I’m sick of men acting like shaming one body type to accommodate another body type helps.
Opinion Owner+1 yAnd girls never shame guys? This anti male hate on gag is pathetic
- +1 y
Where did I say women don’t? I am just bringing up a topic that many men on gag do as well. If you don’t like my Ted talk, you don’t need to spend your night indulging ☺️
Opinion Owner+1 yHaha says the person who's asking a question which has been more overdone than boobs or butt.
- +1 y
Yeah except I literally have no clue what you just said at all. Spoken like a true 5 year old
Opinion Owner+1 yWhat part of it can't you understand? It's incredibly simple to understand
- +1 y
“Has been more overdone than boobs or butt” again spoken like a true 5 year old
Opinion Owner+1 yThe Boobs or butts question gets asked pretty much everyday, and is probably the most common question. But the antu male feminist agenda questions like yours are probably more common now
- +1 y
Like you said and take your own advice “just get over it” 🤷🏻♀️
Opinion Owner+1 yDo you have preferences in males or do you like all body shapes?
- +1 y
Just because I have a preference doesn’t mean I trash the ones I’m not attracted to. But like I said, take your own advice and “just get over it”
Opinion Owner+1 yAnd you never trash males, do you?
- +1 y
Nope. I know what it feels like to be body shamed my whole life. Eating disorder started at 12 years old for me 🤷🏻♀️ I know unbelievable that you can’t fight against what I said
Opinion Owner+1 yBs, a lot of girls forget their own faults and things they do and only focus on guys. My ex from.10 years ago said I used to treat her like crap and do this and that. And she never mentioned her own faults even if they were bad.
A lot of girls only think guys can do wrong- +1 y
Who are you to say it’s a lie? Because you can’t come to terms people actually don’t body shame other. Who said I think only guys can do wrong? That’s from your mouth, not mine. 🤷🏻♀️
- +1 y
Others*
Opinion Owner+1 ySome men might, but both sexes do. You should have just said people instead of men. That just sounds like you have a feminist agenda.
- +1 y
Again, I was making a jab at a GAG member in particular, but maybe you should’ve asked 🤷🏻♀️
Opinion Owner+1 yWhich gag member?
- +1 y
@Mcheetah
- +1 y
He blocked me so I can’t tag him directly lol
Opinion Owner+1 yDo you want me to message him to unblock u
- +1 y
No it’s okay lol. He just talked a bunch of shit and then blocked me. I’ll let a pussy , keep being a pussy 🤷🏻♀️
Opinion Owner+1 yHe said he only likes big girls anyway. Not skinny model rype
- +1 y
Yes but he bashed the skinny girls in the meantime and then suggested that I body shamed for saying that this certain girls body size can cause actual health issues. I am in dietetics so my speculation was based on my career, not the fact that I dislike big people. That’s far from the truth
Opinion Owner+1 yWas the conversation on this question? Or do you have a link to the convo
