Nope. I’m an introvert and have healthy relationships with others based on mutual understanding and trust. I love to be kind and generous, am usually cheerful and good natured, but I do not mind being alone and need it from time to time to replenish. I am not scared or paranoid, I just do not require constant human contact to thrive (a reason I managed well during the pandemic) and find constant contact with strangers draining. There is so selfishness involved - I literally have nothing to give to anyone if I’m drained and need some “me time”.

This is such a weird question lol. Introversion is just how you react to social settings. It’s not selfish because you can’t control it. It takes a very terrible type of person to think that introverts are rude just because we want a closer social circle of people we actually trust.

No honey I don't mean that its purposefully rude ir selfish. I think its driven by fear and paranoia and i feel bad for them about that. But i am saying the end result is yes selfishness as described in OP. I dont want to come off as judging harshly.

I'm extrovert and presentable, I like being center of attention sometimes. I don't think I share and give myself to others. I just enjoy their attention and admiration, they give it to me.
If you're introvert you don't take others something away, you just don't get something from them.
