What if there are negative consequences resulting from a jab you were forced to take against your will? This time nothing, doctors would try their best to explain it away and pretend that wasn’t the cause, as would the media, and even if it were proven that it was the cause the manufacturers aren’t liable.

The reason it’s controversial is because everything is so fishy, and some of us saw this coming right at the beginning.

The same people who are now pro-vaccine mandate are the same people who told me that i was a paranoid nutjob when I said that it would happen. They said that it would never happen, yet here we are. Literally everything I said that would happen has happened.

Basically they can never make the read, and still call me dumb despite my predictions being 100% correct.

What you guys are misreading now is the fact that the places where the most people are vaccinated have the highest number of covid19 cases. The mainstream media report that hospitals are filled with unvaccinated people when you can find official statistics which show that the opposite is true. They know they’re lying.

You die within 28 days of a positive test result for whatever reason, any reason at all, and you’re counted as a covid death. You die 14 days after a jab and you’re counted as an unvaxxed death, in fact that has to be your second jab because you’re not considered to be fully vaccinated until the second.

The media are running stories about how “experts say” that climate change is causing heart attacks and blood clots, weed is causing heart attacks and blood clots, bad diet as a result of lockdown stress is causing heart attacks blood clots. The newest one is that winter causes heart attacks and blood clots. Also many kids have strokes and myocarditis apparently, and they want to pretend that’s normal. Famous people, many athletes, seem to be dying suddenly of heart attacks for some strange reason.

We now have the onicron variant, which was first found in South Africa. The South Africans claim that it’s a very mild illness, much milder than the original variant. Meanwhile over here it can apparently cause heart problems.

They lie about rhe number of heart problems which come as a result of the jabs, pretending that it’s much rarer than it actually is. They also downplay the severity. For example they say that some people, especially young men and boys, might develop “mild myocarditis”. There’s no such thing as mild myocarditis, heart muscle can’t be repaired. Their health will be negatively impacted forever.

Obviously they’re coming up with these things to pretend that the jabs don’t cause harm. Anybody who can’t see that is clearly a moron. Anybody who thinks that those in power see us as anything but cattle is also a moron.

Violations of the fourth amendment, the complete lack of a control group for a untested drug, the sizeable number of members of Congress being major pharmaceutical stockholders, the total disregard for legal safety measures and the acceptance that a disease less dangerous than chicken pox warrants them, and the expansion of executive branch power to a degree that directly undermines the fundamental nature of the separation of powers which is the entire reason the US government has lasted this long. Bonus points for ignoring bodily autonomy- it's no different from having an "abortion mandate" because your employer wants to make sure you don't miss work. Would you accept that?

That's on the political side. On the scientific side, the controversy rests in the fact that vast majority of the population apparently slept through high school biology. What the prophylactics (they're not actually vaccines) do is prompt your body to start producing cells with the same spike protein that's responsible for Covid's contagiousness, so your immune system destroys those cells and learns to target that protein.

There are two problems with this: first, a mutation in that protein renders the prophylactic weakened or useless (which is why it doesn't prevent you catching or spreading Covid) and second, horizontal gene transfer (between two cells, as opposed to the vertical gene transfer of parent to child) exists. This protein, coupled with the extremely low lethality of Covid (IFR is around 0.02%) is why it spreads so far and so fast; it's both unstoppable and essentially harmless (were it not for the hysteria-prompting method of counting "Covid deaths", the hoi-polloi wouldn't even be aware of it). But if that mRNA carrying spike protein production details spreads to a disease that's actually dangerous, like tuberculosis, we'll see bodies pile up in the streets worse than Chinese propaganda suggested Covid would do. If it spreads to bird flu (almost two hundred times as lethal as Covid, but can only be spread to humans from infected birds), we're looking at a civilization-ending plague.

On the scientific side is the fact that it would serve no purpose: the shots don't prevent you catching Covid. They don't prevent you spreading Covid- they don't appreciably reduce viral load, and they DO reduce symptoms, meaning you're less likely to know you have it; overall, it makes you MORE likely to spread the virus. What the shots DO do is lessen symptoms, making you more likely to survive and less likely to need to be hospitalized. Given that the effectiveness drops in a matter of months, and eventually goes NEGATIVE, meaning that at the sixth month point, those who took the shot are LESS able to defend themselves than those who didn't, you're doing nothing but killing more people to line the pockets of corrupt officials and executives.

    For many reasons:

    1) Some people hate receiving orders
    2) They claim that vaccines are going to take away their "freedom". Some even compare vaccines to dictatorships which is nonsensical and disrespectful towards people who actually live or lived under dictatorships.
    3) There are those who claim that Covid doesn't exist and that all governments are trying to control us (they already do that through our phones, but no one cares about it).
    4) Some believe in conspiracy theories like the chip or the Bill Gates theory.
    5) There are also people who are against all vaccines.
    6) Some think it's better to be infected than taking the actual vaccine.
    7) And there are people who only do what they want regardless of what others or experts tell them.

I sense that this controversy will keep going and going and that's one of the reasons why the pandemic is not going to end anytime soon.

Many reasons, some because a executive branch (governor or president) is doing something that the legislative branch hasn't specifically authorized. They are stretching the existing law, which is why there are so many lawsuits over it.

Others is because like Biden forcing it, but also at the same time leaving in blanket legal immunity if someone suffers serious side effects. If the vaccine is so safe, then he should remove the legal immunity. Actions speak louder than words.

Saying it is safe, take it while doing that is causing a lot of people to refuse to.

Others say its freedom of choice on your own body, what to put in it.

I fully expect in 3 or 4 years, maybe a bit longer no one will have issues with the covid vaccine.

Because they're experimental, dangerous, the companies won't accept liability for any damages or harm that may occur - if they're 'safe' then they should back their own products. We know, or at least, for anyone who bothered to read before all this insanity started to take place, how corrupt these companies and industries are, how they repeatedly lie, abuse and damage people. Pfizer with over $4.5 billion in damages. Scientists have always talked about the revolving door between industry and regulation. How scientists have to tailor their research interests into what would get funding. We know that medical errors are thought to be the third biggest killer in the US. This is not science, but scientism.

    fuck, the list is endless.

This is all based on shoddy science. Each person's health is their own responsibility, or at least, far more so than we have been brainwashed to understand since birth. Get yer jab in your arm and you're healthy. Nothing to do with your day to day activities, your raison d-etre, the type and the amount of food that you eat, how flabby you are, your stress levels, the amount of sleep that you get, so on so forth.

They say themselves in their own propaganda that the vaccine doesn't stop you from spreading it. In that case, it's clearly about punishment and 'benefits/privileges' for the vacced.

Really, this argument is so dumbed down that I roll my eyes even having to state it.

Because folks do not understand the definition of the word mandate.

    https://leadingage.org/workforce/vaccine-mandates-state-who-who-isnt-and-how

So far, there are 25 states that require vaccination for employees of various categories. Of those:

Twenty-one specify requirements for healthcare workers, and the majority of those states require vaccination or regular testing of unvaccinated employees.
Six states have taken a “vaccinate or terminate” approach, only permitting healthcare workers to be unvaccinated if they have a valid religion or medical exemption as defined for by the EEOC.
Nine states have passed laws that ban employers from mandating vaccines for workers; three more states are expected to enact such bans in the near future.
Two states (Louisiana and Michigan) are rumored to be working on vaccine mandates for state workers, but these mandates have not yet materialized.

Because the government is forcing you to put something in your body. This has never been done before in the vast majority of western countries. I am vaccinated but I completely agree that this is authoritative insanity.

It all comes down to this:

1). At this point the risks of covid are well established. If you are of advanced age and/or in a vulnerable category then it’s on YOU to risk your life or not.

2). Many people have already had covid and have natural immunity. Studies have shown that natural immunity is actually much more effective than induced immunity.

3). If you are vaccinated than why the hell are you worried about non vaccinated people? Your protected. Why do you need to dictate your concerns on others.

4). If we let the government get away with this, what else will they try to push?

5). The economy is already struggling and there is a labor shortage. This is the most Down syndrome senile decision the Biden administration could of possibly come up with.

I got a feeling some people actually LIKE being controlled by the government. It falls in line with their desire for communism. This is extremely dangerous and disgusting.

@Js9etbr yes you said it exactly. This is why the radical left has grown so powerful:

      1. Leftists use emotional based arguments which have greater brainwashing effects on women than men.

      2. Unfortunately many women desire a patriarchal “care giving” mentally where they want to be taken care of by the government.

      3. When it comes to dating men are being pressured (disgustingly) to adhere to their female counterparts political identities. I never in my life seen so many women discriminate against conservative men in dating in the last few years. Unfortunately some men are caving.

      4. Don’t get me started on the entertainment industry, mass media, public education sector, etc.

Im pro vax - BUT , In my nearly 61 years on the planet , can I ever recall an absolutely mandatory vaccine , plus take my home country Australia as your example , they said right at 70 % we tentatively open , and 80 % just everything opens , now this is the whole essence of herd correct? , now they have hit 86 % excluding young children , and have just come up with a shot for children over 5 years old..
So where does it stop? So as I said , I've made my choice , but weve reached herd so why should I be concerned? Watching ABC News ( Australia ) is utterly depressing , because the way they have reacted compared to where I am ( Thailand ) has been CRAZY ! Ludicrous and crazy.
They had a program the other day. Will you let the unvaxed attend Christmas? Im thinking sure.. What would I care? Everyone on that panel , basically said " no " . Id just spent a week with my unvaccinated , unmasked friend in Phuket , was I worried? Not at all , everything same as always.
So to try and absolutely mandate something? Highly controversial. Plus , all that they are reporting is simply NOT true , talking about " Super spreaders " , so exactly 1 year ago here in Hua Hin , we had the world famous " Jazz on the beach " 5,000 people , bars and fun , no social distance.. Who had it? Who knows.. What happened? Nothing , no one died , probably some cases , weve just lived with it , yet Australia's attitude of lockdowns etc is the opposite. Was it worth it for Aus? NO WAY , absolutely crazy stuff.
Hence , a mandate is VERY controversial , and again Im pro vax , but Im also pro choice !

    I'd say for various reasons.

    - my body my choice right, or does your fear supplant freedom of choosing what's best for oneself?
    - The people that have already had covid and the 99%+ that survive have natural immunity, which is much better than any vaccine.
    - mandating that people either lose their jobs or get vaccinated is a violation of Constitutional rights in the U. S. and is a reason why many are pushing back. This sets a dangerous precedence if upheld. So the next flu season can they push the same mandates if politicians deem it to be a "health crisis"?
    - Along the same lines as above, restricting travel, access to goods and services etc to people that haven't been vaccinated is also UN-Constitutional.
    - There's also the fact that the vaccines haven't been tested initially on people with certain medical conditions that may have an adverse reaction. Many medical exemptions are not being accepted and this is unfair to those people.
    - There's also the fact that there have been no long term studies on the affects of the different vaccines obviously since they are new.

      - I’m with you, your body your choice. Same for abortion.
      - both natural immunity and vaccine efficiently fades, pretty quickly. We’ll be seeing Covid vaxes for the rest of our lives, no doubt.
      - again, I agree mandates on your body are unconstitutional. But the constitution does say we can prohibit dangers to society. Ie, unvaxxed people. Private businesses are already doing that legally.
      - how do you know the vaxes heavent been tested properly? Don’t you think a worldwide pandemic would focus the scientific community to make a vaxx faster than previous vaxxxes?
      - There’s plenty of research that shows all other current vaccines have no long term affects.

The same reason abortions are: the government doesn't have the right to your own body. Especially considering the vaccine can kill you. Not that the mainstream media will ever cover those stories.

Even if the vaccine was 100% safe and was FDA and agency approved before they tried pushing it onto the masses, I still wouldn't take anything Joe Biden, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, and the worst people in society, are pushing people to take. Because I don't think any of them are smart enough or self-aware enough to know what reverse psychology is. If the far left promotes it, it's likely very, VERY bad for you. And that's just going off the promotion of this vaccine. Not all the deaths and side effects of it.

Mandates aren’t legal in the USA. There are laws that can be passed by a representative government (if that government were legitimately elected), but those laws still can’t violate constitutional or human rights. Breaking the law is always controversial. What’s so confusing to you? Wouldn’t you be stirred up if I kicked in your front door and and smack you in the face with the butt of a shotgun and then yelled at you to tell me where you hid your valuables as I threatened your lively hood while you looked down the barrel of my gun? Criminal action will be met with resistance.

During conflict, punishment for violating the laws of war may consist of a specific, deliberate and limited violation of the laws of war in reprisal.

"After a conflict ends", persons who have committed or ordered any breach of the laws of war, "especially atrocities", may be held individually accountable for war crimes through process of law. Also, nations that signed the Geneva Conventions are required to search for, then try and punish, anyone who has committed or ordered certain "grave breaches" of the laws of war. (Third Geneva Convention, Article 129 and Article 130.)

Combatants who break specific provisions of the laws of war are termed unlawful combatants. Unlawful combatants who have been captured may lose the status and protections that would otherwise be afforded to them as prisoners of war, but only after a "competent tribunal" has determined that they are not eligible for POW status (e. g., Third Geneva Convention, Article 5.) At that point, an unlawful combatant may be interrogated, tried, imprisoned, and even executed for their violation of the laws of war pursuant to the domestic law of their captor, but they are still entitled to certain additional protections, including that they be "treated with humanity and, in case of trial, shall not be deprived of the rights of fair and regular trial." (Fourth Geneva Convention Article 5.)

I live in Florida. That said, that doesn't mean I won't fight communism...

The invisible enemy: Communism was portrayed as secretive. According to this theme, Communists were all around you undermining your society without your knowing. The efforts to suppress Communism did drive many communist sympathizers underground. In addition, charges that those with communist sympathies were in Hollywood or the State department became difficult to disprove. These smear campaigns and the suppression movement lent validity to the invisible enemy theme.

11.8.1 Paramount Authority of the Occupying Power Over Government Functions in Occupied Territory. The functions of the hostile government—whether of a general, provincial, or local character—continue only to the extent they are sanctioned by the Occupying Power. 139

11.8.2 Continued Performance of Duties by Civil Servants and Other Officials of Local Governments. The Occupying Power may, while retaining its paramount authority, permit the government of the country to perform some or all of its normal functions.140 It may, for example, call upon the local authorities to administer designated rear areas, subject to theguidance and direction of the Occupying Power. 141 Such action is consistent with the status of occupation, so long as there exists the firm possession of territory and the purpose to maintain paramount authority.142 Similarly, for example, courts are generally to continue the ordinary administration of justice during occupation.143

The compulsion of civil servants and other officials of local governments to continue to perform their duties must be justified by military necessity and consistent with applicable provisions of the GC. 144

11.8.3 Local Governments Under Duress or Surrogate Governments. The restrictions placed upon the authority of a belligerent State cannot be avoided by a system of using a puppet government, central or local, to carry out acts that would be unlawful if performed directly by the Occupying Power. Acts induced or compelled by the Occupying Power are nonetheless its acts.145

11.8.4 Responsibility of the Occupying Power for Treatment Accorded to Protected Persons by Its Agents. An Occupying Power, like belligerent States, is responsible for the treatment accorded to protected persons by its agents, irrespective of any individual responsibility that may be incurred.146 The responsibility of the Occupying Power for its agents includes those agents that are not its nationals, such as locally recruited agents of the nationality of the State whose territory is occupied.147

11.8.5 Immunity of Occupation Personnel From Local Law. Military and civilian personnel of the occupying forces and occupation administration and persons accompanying them are not subject to the local law or to the jurisdiction of the local civil or criminal courts of the occupied territory, unless expressly made subject thereto by a competent officer of the Occupying Power. 148

It is important for the Occupying Power to ensure that an appropriate system of substantive law applies to such persons and that tribunals are in existence to deal with civil litigation to which they are parties and with offenses committed by them.149 In the past, provost courts have been used for these purposes.150 In recent practice, the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the Military Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Act, among others, have been used to address offenses committed by military and civilian personnel in the context of occupation.

    Several reasons:
    1. People generally do not like being told they must do something
    2. Despite what politicians tell us, there is nothing in the US Constitution that specifically allows the federal government to mandate vaccines; per the Constitution, that's something that the states can do
    3. A mandate technically violates the federal HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) law, in that a mandate is unenforceable... the law requires an individual right to medical privacy, which means that someone cannot require you to reveal whether you're vaccinated or not
    4. There is evidence that the vaccines are not that effective against the SARS2 coronavirus that causes COVID; efficacy is down, especially against variants like Omicron, and the vaccine is admittedly only for 6-9 months
    5. The major beneficiaries of the COVID vaccine is big pharmaceutical companies, which are making billions in profits (paid from our taxes) from the COVID vaccine

People are stupid and stupid people are often paranoid. Plus the religious evangelical right wing have made being anti science and anti biology a core tenet ever since Darwin's Origin of the Species.

All combine to form a trifecta of anti science paranoid conspiracy loving brain dead idiot.

They are easily manipulated and Trump weaponised this ignorance so effectively that when he told his followers to get vaxed they nearly booed him off his own stage.

@Levin i see the problem being "science" being used by individuals that cherry pick the information contained in science and by presenting those cherry picked choices, you can basically propagate every opinion that you want. every actual scientist who is aware of the "entirety" of the scientific discours around a topic sees what's going on... but scientists don't have a platform. they can't really speak out unless they are being allowed in high up places like the WHO or the mainstream media... and those that dared to speak out on social media (the media that were supposed to be the most democratic and free) were quickly deplatformed and silenced.

be a trump hater all you want but every single one of us should disagree with a private social media platform owner being able to silence the president of the united states of america, the democratically elected representant of the entire nation...

the problem isn't "science" itself, cause the scientific method is still the best method we have to secure knowledge about the world. the problem is people who borrow the authority of "science" as if science had "opinions" and if science was a democrativ mechanism where one of those "opinions" rises by majority vote...

Because some people don't want the vaccine even if it's perfectly safe.
The fact is every American with a same mind acknowledges COVID-19 is a serious problem. It's not the most dangerous disease but it has a high body count and we need a vaccine. With that said a lot of Americans don't care. They don't care until it's one of their relatives being put under a knife and they don't care unless they're at risk. A mandate is the government's/a business's way of saying "Do it or we aren't going to save you down the line".
You'll notice the most avid anti vaxxers don't want logic, they don't want anything but to be told "Do what you want" and that's why the mandate is controversial. Every time the government mandates anything there will be angry Americans. Gay marriage can't be outlawed? Angry. Can't discriminate based on race? Angry. Can't send my kid with smallpox to school? Why the hell not!

because what you put in your body should be your choice.

if we want a society where we argue that "we need to force vaccinate people, cause they jeopardize the health care system", then we also need to have discussions about illegalizing smoking and alcohol as well as putting fat people on a forced diet and workout routine... and if you're not concerned about freedom in that regard, i don't know what's wrong with you honestly.

i'm not even an anti vaxxer. i am pro vaccinations, though if one takes a vaccine or not should still be an inividual choice, not a totalitarian government decision.

I hope this question is a joke. Some people seem to have this idea that taking the shot protects those around you, which is not the case. All that taking the shot does is lessens the severity of the symptoms you experience on yourself. Taking the shot doesn’t affect any other person but YOU. If the government is so concerned with our health, why aren’t they strictly enforcing people to eat healthy? Why aren’t they looking out people’s mental health? Suicide is one of the leading causes of death, especially during covid times. To answer your question, you cannot mandate a person to take medicine. It goes against every single fundamental right we have. Which is why the Supreme Court shot down Biden’s mandate in a heartbeat. It’s pretty clear to me the strong push to get so many people vaccinated is not about health, but about MONEY.

Because people are stupid. If a war is about to start, are you gonna refuse getting drafted because of your "freedom" or are you actually going to comply with orders? The vaccine mandate is no different. If we don't get at least 75% of the world population on the vaccine, we will continue to see new strains if COVID, as it will continue to mutate while it spreads.

@Adam1978 This is no ordinary disease. The equivalent of that in war terms would be WWII. It's a goddamn pandemic. If this was a contagious disease that was in one part of the world only, like say MERS, then maybe. This is a fast-spreading, highly mutating virus. In a World War, you will be forced against your will to fight for your country. No negotiations. Unless you have some type of condition. If you are a perfectly healthy individual, you are mandated by law to hoin the Army. When will people remember that this is a pandemic, not an epidemic? This is not like Iran vs Iraq, more like the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbour. Take it seriously.

    That's not controversial. Mandates are.
That unvaccinated are any more or less risk to anyone else is just bunk. Either can carry and spread the virus. If you've got the vax then just live your life and be happy and quit worrying about what everybody else is doing.

These stupid motherfuckers have turned the vaccination mandates into a freedom of choice issue. This type of thing happened in the mid 80s with the HIV / AIDS problem because of so many gay men had HIV, so it was turned into a Civil Rights issue. These anti -vaxxers are no different from a God damn whore on the streets spreading sylphillus, HIV or the clap. They are a health hazard to the public and should be taken out of circulation. The more this virus infects the better chance it has to mutate into something worst, like Omnicron. I think this concept is above these dumb fuckers head. Humans can carry the virus and test positive, but be asymtomatic and not be sick. Just like a raccoon can carry rabies and not have symptoms. This is probably above the dumb fucker's heads too.

If you remove that evolutionary pressure through some means, like, I dunno, let me just pluck a random example out of mid-air, mass deployment of a non-sterilizing leaky vaccine, then all of a sudden there's no incentive to mutate to be less deadly and more transmissible.

Although since it's free, I don't know if you'd even bill it. I've never had to submit bills for COVID-19 shots. Although that might be because I've only been a coder since August.

Because the risks associated with this disease in no way merited the largest wealth transfer to the wealthy in history (via lockdowns) or the other countermeasures. The messaging has been totally inconsistent (remember two weeks to flatten the curve?) and the recent classification of vaccine data for 50 years makes people think there is something to hide.

It pushes collectivism above individual liberty, which is authoritarian and creates a societal downward spiral.
When you've gone that far as to take away people's right to whether or not they want to inject themselves with experimental drugs, you may as one do away with the democracy and just have a one party state, since without libertarianism then democracy is just badly written soap opera.

Because too many people are too stupid to realize that "my body my choice" doesn't apply to pathogens because when you spread it to others, you violate their bodily autonomy.

But these fascistic dipshits went on about how if people are afraid of the virus they can stay home; well now the shoe's on the other foot and if they're afraid of the vaccine they can stay home.

Because they make no sense logically. If YOU got the vaccine right? Let's pause for a second. Why'd you get the vaccine? Because you think it will save your life right? If YOU got the vaccine, you shouldn't be worried about other people getting the vaccine because YOU are safe. Also the vaccines weaken your immune system and that's why you have to get booster shots. They also don't prevent catching or transferring covid

Well... Imagine that a country would become underpopulated and The proposed "fix" was mandatory insamination.

One of the most democratic principles are that no one has the right to own or decide over your body. Mandates violate that principle.

Because the "Virus" was made in a lab, intentionally spread for the interests of a small (on a global scale) group of evil special interests. What if the next one they make is equal to that of the black plague.

People should stop asking "Why Vax?" and start asking "How Virus?"

@GaGirls I know people who, after they revived the Covid-19 vaccine, got very sick. One almost died, and the other is now permanently on oxygen, one on steroids, and one now has congestive heart failure. These people were very healthy before their shots. It doesn't seem like it helps much to me.

As with any medical decision, taking any drug should between a person and his doctor.

Each individual has his own set of variables when it comes to health care.

So each person should seek out a doctors advice.

Because a normal vaccine takes 10 years to be developed. This one was thrown out after less than a year. We simply do not know the long term effects.

Testing on humans is considering unethical - which the vaccine mandate would eventually be.

because reich wing morons in the US think freedom means they can do whatever the fuck they want regardless of the consequences and that takes precedent over public health and safety. Even if millions were dying, they wouldn't give a fuck because they're selfish, ignorant, pricks.

Mainly a failure of the education system. People don't understand how vaccines or viruses work as a basic level but they think they do, so anyone telling them what they think is wrong is lying to them. It's not their fault really is the log standing political issues many nations face but in the US people take pride in their ignorance.

Well they weren't designed to prevent you from getting COVID-19. They were designed to stop you from dying if you get it. Having said that; you are 800%less likely to get it and 2500% less likely to die if you do get it. The booster only helps. My problem is that my immune system is so damaged, the only way for me to reap the benefits of the vaccine is to have my infusions come from inoculated people. The more people vaccinated means that my infusions are more likely to provide that protection.
