Is feminism anti-men?

I heard that at a party of a feminist group on a yacht, a chained man in slave clothes served feminist women. Are these extremes the reason why feminists are known as anti-men, or do you really believe them as anti-men?

Yes, it is anti-male. (It's anti-female too, actually.) It literally always has been anti-male, since Susan B. Anthony and Millicent Fawcett openly despised men and said such back in the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848. The very premise of feminism is that men universally "oppress" women But at least Western feminism used to have side benefits for existing; those benefits being to seek out more legal rights for women in the West, such as suffrage and equal pay.

But feminism last achieved something beneficial for society in the 1970s, during the very end of second wave. It has been an obsolete movement since then, making up imaginary problems like the wage gap and sexist non-problems like mansplaining. But if you tell a feminist to STFU, *that's* considered "sexism" in their eyes. Not saying all boys need to be taught not to rape.

Feminism is, and always was, a trash movement, with second-wave mostly being an exception. Red Pill "incel" culture is just the male equivalent of feminism.

Feminism is not about equality, it is about preferential treatment. It has never done anything to get any laws changed that are unfair towards men, not even once, therefore it is not about equality.
It has gotten so extreme (feminism is just another form of liberalism) that trans men can now participate in women's sports, therefore ruining women's sports. Just today it was revealed that men competing in women's sports in high schools in liberal California now got scholarships instead of real women athletes by participating in and defeating the top women in track & field.

Feminism is bad, immoral, and makes things worse for BOTH men and women in the long run.

Anything promoting the unequal treatment of anything is wrong. Feminism that deals with us gaining equality is good. Feminism that deals with giving us equality in only the good ways is bad. Simple as that.

No not at all. What about bel hooks' book "Feminism is for Everybody". There is tons of feminist literature. Dworkin, Lourde, De Beauvoir, Naomi Wolff, etc etc. Unfortunately most men who constantly whine about feminism haven't read any of those book and probably can't read very well anyway. The problem is 304s trying to sell the idea that unpaid prostitution like sex is "empowerment" ... media sells that sh*t too... tons of singers and entertainers sell it too. Taking the mother of a family out of the house and putting her into the workplace you know isn't really good if you have a family. Seriously though, feminism is just the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes. anything after that going one way or the other is a personal hang up by an individual or group of people. Of you get a majority of people who claim to be feminists to believe differently than the original definition the definition could change, as with any word.

I dont think your example is anything to do with it the reason many including myself view feminism as misandry, it is because they routinely promote gender neutral issues in ways which favour females.

This is not equality.

There is also no need for the term or movement if your agenda is to promote equality, because you can simply talk about and promote equality, it is only if you are favouring one thing or another than you need put it in its own box.

Second/third wave feminists no they were not anti-men they wanted the same pay, condition and legal standing as men which they got through legislation,
The current crop of feminists (mainly from the Middle/Upper Class) are only after on thing - POWER - and they do not care who or how much of society gets wreaked in the process. They are the ones that hate men as they see them as an impediment to their goal.

It has been anti-male since the very beginning.

It teaches women that are nothing but beings without agency. Floating around with only the ability to be acted upon.

It also teaches men that they are have hyperagency. That they all collectively must share the blame of the few men who actually act upon the women in an extremely negative way.

So really, it's against both sexes because there is no way a narrative like this will end up without everyone suffering.
