If I say "Good morning" to a woman in NYC she might call the cops on me and have me sent to jail. If I say"Good morning" to a woman in Texas she might respond "good morning" and then we both carry on with our day. Rape in Texas and other red states means rape - like if a man were to tie a woman up and insert his penis into her vagina against her will then it is rape. But in left leaning places where #metoo is the law of the land - a mere "hello" can get you a rape accusation.

Was just reading on another page , in Australia people looking at sharing houses this kind of thing , a guy posted a photo of himself seeking a room , now he was a gym type guy , the correct age , looked okey , I wouldn't say that special , all the comments of a sexual nature , nothing to do with the room he wanted , so certainly in my opinion anyhow , women tend to flirt far more , often instigated by females.
So if they think flirting is rape , then thats just crazy , but I dont think they link the two.

This is like asking a feminist if all men are trash. You need to first realize there are the good and educated that follow a cause and than the ignorant and radical as with any cause or movement. There are some Me too types that would consider some of the oddest things rape while their are the more rational ones who would argue flirting depends on the context of said flirting. Another example is some would say as men none of us have any say on this matter where as the intelligent adult followers would know the proper way to debate and use a more philosophical approach to how one regards this movement. I can not and would never try to speak for women who've been a victim of any type of assault I just know there is a proper approach to all causes and the radical approach.

Both definitions of rape you provided are exaggerated. Due to a relatively recent cultural shift, I think women are simply no longer tolerating men’s unwanted sexual advances, which includes sexual harassment, groping, etc, not polite or even suggestive conversation. I think these are fair play in the appropriate setting. If your “innuendos” are not well received, it is advised you withdraw your interest rather than persist. This includes both opposite sex relationships in which either sex is the aggressor or with same sex relationships. If it occurs between consenting adults, most people should have no objection, although a large age gap will perhaps attract unwanted attention.
