Why are black people discriminated in US?
I've read on news black people are discriminated in US. Does it really happen?
1. Yes it's real
2. Yes it's also overblown in the media. There's not rampant racism but discrimination definitely happens
3. Why? Can't really say. First time someone called me the N word I was 12 and didn't really understand till I was 14
Don't get me wrong, I had a good life a very good upbringing a lot of good friends people by and large treat me very well. But I've definitely dealt with several racist assholes over the course of my life
Both people in my age group, people older than me, people who had some type of power in the environment that I was in. Definitely happens. Dated white girls whose parents didn't like me because I was black. Very rare, but it did happen and cause problems for me
a lot of the racism today is like secondhand racism. To where the person is not even really racist per se. But they were raised by racist family members so a lot of the ideas they have in their head are ideas that are fundamentally racist, even though they themselves do not dislike or have a hatred for black people or other races
We all have a little bit of prejudice inside of us that we have to control when emotions run high. It's like someone being scared of dogs because they got bit by a dog as a kid. They don't really control that emotion but they can manage how they respond to it. There's a lot of that aswell
All the people who are racist Against Me growing up were white people. And it happened from before the age of 12, I just slowly started to notice it by the time I was twelve. I could have turned around like a lot of black people do and fundamentally think that most white people are racist because of what I experienced as a kid
And that would lead me to reading into situations, actions, words that people say and taking it the wrong way because of how I feel. A lot of people do that too. Reading racism into things that isn't there
It's a whole thing. Race relations in America has a very very long storied history since the very beginning of the country so I doubt it's ever going to really go away anytime soon
Anyone who's denying racism isn't happening, that it's the " media" is a F**in stooge PERIOD your saying the media is full of shit than why you watching it? better yet why you using a source that's bullshit as your defense? this is why the shit will never stop because a lot of us have the inability to admit white prevelidge but I can tell you why... cause your on the side that benefits. Try sincerely asking a black person you know if they're 100% sure that in their life they have personly encountered it instead bringing the media of govt up like that means something. If racism not being real is so important to you than start talking to black folks... politely debate & ask the uncomfortable questions so MAYBE our grandchildren won't have to
do you know profiling works? Black folks definitely do. reason Im asking because if I was cop... I see a white dude at an ATM at 3 in the morning who keeps looking over his shoulder your getting followed so I can see where your getting your meth.

Why is anyone supposed to believe you are from Somalia?
How can you not know about the silliness of Race Theory? There are people in America who believe that the folks in Somalia, the ones in Kenya, the ones in Ethiopia, are all the same people. United in something called the "Black" race.
How could you not know that?
Race theory has no respect for the cultural differences you have in your nation or with folks in other nations. Not if you share similar skin tone/texture.
Of course there is racism in the US, like anywhere else. But the media and some people with an agenda greatly exaggerate it. The media LOVES to sensationalize and create controversy. They totally thrive on it.
The US is probably less racist that most of Europe for example, but you'd never guess that from listening to the news, or listening to politicians who have something to gain from creating controversy.
The news media is lying. In fact, they discriminate black people, while simultaneously claiming they are looking out for their best interests. The Democrats have black people now hating the very same people who’s older party members fought for their right to be recognized as citizens and the right to vote. Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.
No. Discrimination has been illegal since the 1960s. The Democrats and the media - not that there's much difference between them lately - are lying.
Us was basically created as a slave country and the ability to use slave labor so others can get wealthy has always been ingrained in the country. So the beiefs of the infiorority of blacks in America is ingrained into the countries fabric.
I doubt it generally happens, but the cases it happens are televised resulting in people overestimating how much it actually happens
It might happen here and there but the media acts like it's so commonplace that it is actively supported by the general population. If you have ever stepped outside, you'd know that isn't the case, not since over 50 years.
Tbh, I think any country with a black population is heavily discriminated against. The only reason people look to the US is because of things like the civil rights movement, MLK, BLM, and the kkk that made history.
Discrimination is not the biggest problem in America for black people. 99% of black people are killed by black people in America. It's fucking unreal.
They're not, they have more privileges than white folk
in what way?
That’s not a privilege, it levels the playing field
Do you know the history of affirmative action or why it was implemented?
notwoke not true, where did you come up with that
@SmokinAces2000 I get a ticket for not cutting my lawn on time or if I park on the street overnight my car will be towed 100% of the time. If you live in the hood they don't even bother with anything below a felony, If you pulled 1/8 of the shit that gets pulled in the hood every day, ONE TIME in my neighborhood it would be an international event and every neighbor would in the courtroom to make sure you were sentenced harshly
That doesn’t indicate easier treatment from the justice system, all your did was rant
Neko_Nya I’ve been doing it since I was 3 😊
Long story short, people who have power rarely tend to give it up willingly.
Question: “why is Santa clause fat?”
You: “the galaxy is a multi universe with billions of stars”
Because black people are 14 percent of the population in a majority white country
Is there some racism in the US? Yes. Is it as prevalent as the media portrays it? Not even close.
Two words; Racist Nation.
It’s a long history with many levels
I know about the history but I wanna does it still happen?
I think the current state of Race Relations in the US speaks for itself. I don’t really understand how someone could look at us and not see the racism, systemic and socially
Quite the opposite in fact
they are jealous of us
In certain ways
