Most will comply to save their jobs. Many are refusing because that’s what is expected by their local tribe (church, town, etc.) If they have to get vaccinated to keep their job, they will have a good excuse for doing it.
Hopefully they'll just die instead.

Early during covid, soon after covid jumped to infect humans (assuming no foul play), healthy young people had a 99.9+% survival rate. After a virus adapts to infect a new species it then evolves for maximum virulence within said species, which at a cost reduces lethality (dead people don't cough on others as much, now do they?). Meaning that this already very relatively tame disease has already become much less lethal. On top of this, I already have natural immunity which makes me even safer, and according to numerous studies natural immunity is much more lasting than all current covid-19 vaccine whose efficacy time seemingly every two months, requiring even more boosters per year.
Should I take a vaccine that has a chance of causing a reaction, something which these rushed vaccines to seem to do a lot more than any other? Something I could never hold the manufacturer accountable for due to their special exception? Some product I can't even look into for 75 years because I need to blindly "trust the scienceTM"? Some product that seems to become less effective by the day, meaning I'd have to take it again and again with a risk each time? The answer is no for me, not worth it. I will continue to only be vaccinated for actual serious diseases, especially those who have proven themselves for the last 50 years.
Carnegie Mellon University has suggested, in a study, with a 10,000 sample size that people with PHDs are even more likely to be vaccine hesitant than those who haven't even completed high school or less. Statistically you are suggested to be wrong. Science isn't about blindly trusting what some man in a fancy outfit reads from papers you are forbidden to read, this isn't 17th century italy. I find it hilarious all these "trust the science" people who try to prop up themselves as people of science NEVER question anything, especially in the middle of one of the worst reproducibility crises in history.

It has not yet been determined if a company can require its employees to be vaccinated. The argument is that would violate the employee's right to non-disclosure of health information under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). That question is currently in the courts, triggered by the Biden's Administration executive order to penalize companies with more than 100 employees that do not require their employees to be vaccinated; it's yet to be determined how to monitor and enforce that and still comply with HIPAA.
I don't know where you are but in my area of the country, public transport, restaurants and bars do not require proof of vaccination and many don't even require masks for customers, though their staff wears them.
It's turning out that the omicron variant doesn't discriminate between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, with similar infection rates and seriousness for each group.
Also, you may be incorrect that someone laid off for not being vaccinated cannot collect unemployment insurance. In most cases, that would be a violation of union contracts. Where workers are not unionized, the only reason for not being able to collect unemployment is "termination for cause" meaning the worker is not doing their, not that the employer is not allowing the worker to do their job. That question will also end up in the courts to decide.
The flu epidemic of 1918 killed over 50 million and went away on it's own with no stay at home orders, masks, or vaccines. This Covid shit is causing more problems than it should and has caused more financial loss than the stock market crash in 1929. We've lost $trillions as a result and it's turned everyone against each other and even has caused people to kill each other. This is ridiculous. Frankly I'm sick and tired of hearing about it. Do what you think is best for you and don't worry what the other guy does. The vaccines were supposed to keep you from getting it. And now you need boosters yet vaccinated people are still dying. Zero, most will become homeless and create a huge drag on the economy that already can't fill the currently open jobs.
It will also be a nightmare for employers who have to fire people if the government ordered them to, which means hiring someone else and spending millions to train them. They will just want to start outsourcing more and more work or importing more labor to fill those open positions.

Let's see, Delta Airlines tried that, and then ended up grounding around half their flights so they had to cave in, hospitals have tried that hand have lost a lot of their nursing staff, so they cannot admit as many people as they used to, surgeries have been cancelled. Ooops.
And the thing is that Covid which is a variant of SARS has morphed at least twice now, and the original vaccine is becoming less and less effective.
There are so many people now coming down with COVID that have been both vaxed and boosted.
Right now it is running about 50-50 with our flu like symptom calls (code for the vid) of non vaxed vs vaxed.
I have had both and I tested positive for it, and have been off for over a week, another medic has tested positive for the 4th time, and we have a total of 10 people out right now, so it doesn't seem to matter much if you have had the vax or not.

You’d think with all the vaccinated and boosted catching Covid that it would disrupt their programming a little bit, but nope- just getting more and more fascistic. I was vaccinated last summer, but since I’d already had Covid it didn’t do anything but made me sick for 2 days and I still got a breakthrough reinfection months later. No boosters. I’m done complying.
