Who would you duel? I think my wife would immediately say me.
Should duels be brought back?

Is that 'The Count of Monte Cristo' (2002) I see in that image? Love that film.
Contrary to movies, duels in reality had quite low fatality rates. This was in the era of guns! Pre-gun era, dying via a duel was a quite low chance. They were also more infrequent than what is portrayed by mainstream media.
Most duels with swords, were fought on the idea of "first blood". Whoever got hurt first, even a scratch or cut on the body, lost. Thereby many were very brief. Second blood, meaning fighting till one opponent dropped with exhaustion, or was injured (i. e. sword through leg, arm, sword hand or foot). This was less frequent but more common than murdering each other. And Third blood was rarer. Fighting to the death. Whoever survives, wins. Guns were more of a problem, as the death rates increased with these kinds of duels. To counter, most governments by the late 17th and 18th centuries created laws to make duels "safe."
Dueling became illegal in Europe around the early to late 17th centuries. It waned in the Eastern United States by the 1800s, being mostly confined to the Antebellum south. Post Confederacy/the Reconstruction period, it was a thing of the past.
They were also more of a rich man's thing. The poor man was more likely to brawl.
To be frank, I don't think they should be brought back. Most people now would probably take it to the extremes with modern weaponry, without specific laws outlying criteria to do with safety.
I think they could be forced upon people so no.

Interesting idea sometime I think yes but honestly it probably is a good thing that it’s illegal. Maybe swords but not guns course I’m trained in kendo both single and dual wielding it’s honestly the only thing I can say I beat a black belt. He asked me how I did it and it was because I watch a lot on anime. Love roronoa zoro
No. Shooting people over insults is very much a disproportionate response.
No. It's a crap way of getting justice.

Yes I've said that for years
Mutual combat laws exist some places still.
