THE US:

- LOBBYING!!! It's absolutely insane how lobbying is even legal in the US or anywhere else on Earth. You could argue lobbying and corporations owning Washington is what's led to the downfall of the US.

- Tip Culture. Retarded as f*ck, idiotic, and hurts everyone involved but the manager, who gets to screw over both their worker and customers. I never tip. And neither does the rest of the world.

- High ambulance and emergency service bills. Being charged expensive bills for ambulance rides and emergency service is insane. Some people literally would rather die or stay sick than pay for emergency medical service in the US.
Whats some of the dumbest, most-backwards traditions exclusive to your country?
- Mandatory auto insurance. Yeah, I know other countries do it to, but it's the highest and worst in the US. I refused to buy a car because I wasn't going to waste hundreds of dollars every month on literally nothing. I'd argue parking is almost as big of a waste of money, but at least makes slightly more sense and isn't mandatory.

THE UK:

- TV License.

- No official protected free speech.

SOUTH KOREA:

- Jeonse; super-high security deposits for apartment rentals in Korea (usually $5-10k, on average) in addition to paying actual rent.
