What's your favorite and least favorite culture?

I can't pick just one...

My favorites:

- Serbian

- Italian

- Latin-American

Honourable mention: Swedish, French, Greek, Iranian

I got along pretty well with people from these cultures. Language could be a barrier, in some cases my experiences have been made easier because I speak Italian, French and Swedish, but I don't understand a word of Greek, Spanish, Portuguese and Farsi. Serbian I can understand a few things, but not answer back. I really appreciate all these cultures!

My least favorites:

- Jewish-American

- White-American

- Black-American

Dishonourable mention: every Americanized culture in the Western world.

Honorable Mention: Feudal Japan (guess I am a weeb then)

Least Favourite: North American, African American, Somali, Swedish, French (basically anything watered down and warped by new age P. C. ideals )

Dishonorable Mention: Colombian, Brazilian

I really dislike modern Swedish culture too, lol! But it's in reality an Americanized culture, I don't see too much difference between Stockholm and NYC in its everyday life and "cultural scene", for example.

Traditional Scandinavian cultures are great, I came to this conclusion after reading about it and seeing what yet remains here in Sweden. I have been interested in Swedish traditional culture because my kids will be Swedish on their mother side, so they have to know their roots.

Middle Eastern Tribal culture is definitely my least-favorite.

Least favorite would be American if I could pick my own, so instead I'll say Italian because I don't enjoy the volume of speech and general disorganization.

I still love all cultures & learning about them, and it hurt to pick a least favorite, but there we have it.

By "White-American" I was referring to the suburban, young, college types. I aporeciate Southern culture.

I never really had contact with Roma people besides seeing a few of them occasionally on the streets, so I can't speak about that culture.

Well you got to travel around a lot and talk to people. For example lots of us don’t like Muslims. But the only Muslims I’ve met I’ve liked. There is the whole black vs white thing going on. I’ve seen LOTS of black peoples live up to the stereotype. But I’ve met several others who are trying their hardest not to be like that.

I get it, I have a good relation with the Muslims I know, I've even pointed out Iran as a honourable mention, Iranians are Muslims! Lol. It can seem absurd, but in no other place in the world I was treated so well by a friendly people who seemed really happy to share their cultural expressions and values with me. I didn't get this welcoming reception when I lived in the USA and in Germany, for example.
