I try to link but it never works. Google "NEA fights for CRT". Not only are the the unions and NEA supportive of teaching it, they have actually allocated money to fight, in court, any teachers right to teach it. They've also allocated money to implement it's teaching in K-12, for any school that wants to teach it. It's not a fucking secret!

You really are clueless. The head of the NEA said she will allocate money to defend those ALREADY TEACHING it! Go on YouTube and watch all the teachers rant about no longer being able to teach it! Allocating money to "continue" teaching. Allocating money to let other schools teach it. Obviously you never read up on it. The NEA admitted it's being taught and like I said, will pay for a teachers defense to let them continue. The unions said the same thing but won't call it "CRT". They call it a "honest discussion about the history of racism". It's not a teacher's job to discuss racism in a public school with children. There job is to TEACH. Teach about slavery. Teach about the civil rights movement. Discussing racism in today's world is subjective and based on opinion. I just worry about who's opinions are going to dominate the discussion.
Tldr however if its not being taught, why would you care if its banned? How strange. Does anyone mind if we ban teaching that unicorns ate lasagna and thats how the world was formed? Well its not taught now and nobody would care if it was banned from being taught.

I do admit that I was wrong. I had it backwards! The Chicago union and other local unions, told the NATIONAL TEACHER'S UNION to change their language about teaching CRT. The local unions continue saying it's an "honest discussion about the history of racism". While the the NEA says they will represent them in court so they can continue teaching "CRT"! Kind of a conflict of interest? Or speech at the very least. Yet, no local union "called" them on it. In fact, teachers have and are still rallying around the NEA. In case you don't know, the NEA is the National Educators Association. It's the national teachers union. I really don't care if CRT is taught in school but it should not be part of their curriculum. If it's an elective class, that's fine. As I said, to discuss today's racism with children is nuts. I wouldn't want them teaching kids the evils of liberalism. On a side note, did you know, that like close to half of college students think the U. S invented slavery? I wonder where they learned that from?
Don't have kids if you are poor because then they will not be given a good education. I was raised by rich parents and went to a wonderful school in Maine that taught me history without much bias.
Why do teachers have to specifically teach black history? Black history falls under US history. If kids want to learn it specifically, they can do it on their own time.

I don't see the problem if it goes away, let them do it. Race is a social construct and so continuing to have black history month is part of systemic racism, it needs to go away.
