To be honest, ANYTHING that is covered, mentioned, highlighted and/or stressed solely based on a person's race or gender is a bit racists and is misguided. I'm surprised so many are caught up in this fallacy. It actually encourages division, not harmony. Unity should be society's goal... ACKNOWLEDGE we have differences but stress things that UNIFY us.
People love to spout the greatness of Martin Luther King... he is endlessly praised but then they turned around and warp his entire message.

Being born black, white, Asian, Latino, male or female is something NO ONE has any control over and it has nothing to do with who we are as individuals. Only our character and who we are as a person is what matters.
Yet society is endlessly bringing up a persons gender or racial group as the marquee detail as to why we should mention them. Pick out a person or group based on their race and then promote it or discuss it with the fact that they are black or female or Latino or whatever.
That's actually racist. It is a paradox that so many are sucked into this of thinking this is normal and that it totally goes against MLK's message.
This is the exact opposite of "judging people on the content of their character" when them being black or white or a woman is the sole reason you are bringing them up.
There really shouldn't be months "celebrating" any race or gender. The fact you think is a normal thing to do is kind of where the disconnect begins.
Mugabe never beat the Rhodesians in the Rhodesian bush war. Sanctions and international pressure won that war for Mugabe. Mugabe turned into a despot ruler who enriched himself and his family, and turned what was the breadbasket of Africa into a barren wasteland.

Most, the majority of African countries who achieved independence from colonial rule have descended into despotic ridden corruption and chaos. Their people being worse off than when they were under colonial rule.
Why is that? Because of the western powers espicially the United States having the foreign policy of regime change and military intervention just like what they've been doing in the middle East for nearly 20 years. If a government doesn't due what the US congress and US companies want it gets sanctions put upon it, the CIA organises coups or they take sides in civil wars they started. The US is currently bombing 10 different countries.
Absolutely I can. Anytime there's a leader that they don't like that refuses to buy arms, take out extortionate loans and give them free access to that African nations resources that leader is overthrown.

That makes no sense what so ever.

According to survey's the west and specifically white nations are the least racist in the world, by economic success white nations are the least racist in the world (highest earners are all minorities), if we are measuring it from a legal and policy stand point the US favores minorities, if your looking at it from a crime and victimization standpoint again, the US favores minorities (as blacks are more then twice as likely to commit a hate crime then white are, the largest hate group in the US is black seperatists (despite blacks being only 12.8% of the population and whites being 63%), 80% of interracial crimes are commited by blacks against whites (the stat holds true for interracial violence between blacks and Hispanics as well)), if we are looking from an immigration standpoint the US makes 1 million immigrants legal citizens per year, five times the number the next most generous nation (Canada) does and has a fairly short initiate period (five years). So by literally every single objective metric we can show that the US is not racist on top of the whole voting for a black man to be in charge of the most powerful nation and military in the world TWICE. So yeah, like I said your racist (or again, trolling as you put up a picture of a violent genocidal dictator and praise him), so what does your opinion even mean? From an objective standpoint, its meaningless.
Not sure, but I think it might have to do with Mugabe's whole, kill all white people policy. The whole white genocide in Zimbabwe (which also destroyed their economy and killed thousands of non whites through starvation) probably pisses white people off, you know, because you advocate for the murdering of an entire people based off of an immutable characteristic and a half hazardly assigned racial guilt. Could be that? Or it could be the idea of dedicating a month to a group of people because of their skin color instead of what individual people did is racist, as your literally assigning worth based upon skin color, and being in a nation that prizes merit over what skin color you have, that kind of pisses people off as its the antithesis to what they believe in (you know the whole, not the color of their skin but the content of their character).

Calling February Black History Month is offensive sine both my father and I were born in February. They should celebrate that in Africa, not America, which perpetuates division between Americans.
I personally dislike the thought off it as my school when growing up used it to ensure not the teach any history involving black unless it was the month it's too abusable
