Of course it is. Being proud of being white doesn't make one racist. A white girl dating fucking marrying or having kids with a black man doesn't mean a white girl hates or is ashamed of being white either. I'm very proud of being white , very proud of the way I look and very proud of my natural pure platinum blonde hair that is longer than I am tall and my very bright very light blue eyes. Why shouldn't we be proud. We're the most beautiful girls I be the world and men of all races love and want us. Blonde hair blue eyed whites are also the smartest have contributed the most and have built and invented the most all throughout history and to this day. Blacks have contributed almost nothing and have never invented anything worthwhile and have never built anything beyond mud or straw huts. Hell no it's of blacks in Africa still live in mud or straw huts and all would if it wasn't for whites. Black women are also so ugly stupid violent smell bad and have bad hair. Their hair looks like monkey pubes and they look and smell like monkey shit and no man of any race love or wants them. That's why they are always sooo jealous of us beautiful blonde hair blue eyes white girls especially when they see us with dark sexy black men. Black men are stupid and violent too and have contributed virtually nothing and have never invented anything or built anything other than mud or straw guys. But damn they are so fucking sexy and they have such big dicks and fuck so good. I'm married to and have kids with a very dark sexy black man. Normally I'd be against this because our skin color is not WHO we are, it's just WHAT we are. Many of the things your white ancestors did were not your doing. Whether those things were great achievements or pure evil, you had nothing to do with it, so what's to be proud of? What did you achieve in your life, and how exactly did your skin color play a role in that? It would actually make more sense to have National pride, but even THAT's under attack.

On the other hand, I did appreciate the "It's OK to be white" slogan of 2017, because it was a simpler message. It didn't mention pride, it just suggested that there was nothing wrong with being white... and the fact that a lot of people took offense to it kind of made me worry about the future.

Outside of US people generally get proud of their own ethnic roots, country, language, history and achievements rather than a meaningless, stupid skin color.

I feel like on the surface there’s nothing wrong with it. As long as you’re not using your privileges to your advantages above other cultures, and prove that you’re an ally. As someone who’s mostly white, I am not responsible for what some of my ancestors did. However, I CAN be responsible for my own actions. “Be the change you wish to see in the world” sounds cliche but it’s a known quote for a reason. :)

I've often wondered how racial pride is even a thing. In the big picture, it just doesn't matter. in my opinion, the concept of being proud of your race doesn't make any sense. You were born with your skin a different color than someone else's, why does that make you special?

Normally, I'd say it's not really cool to be proud of your skin color. It's normal to like and appreciate it though; whatever it is. But seeing the full force push of certain other skin colored people to make being proud of their skin color, a thing, then it's only fair (and equitable since that's the new buzzword now) that we allow white people to have that same pride in their skin. If anyone says it's okay for a particular race to have pride in their skin color, but not another race, that's the damn definition of racism and those people be racists. Bottom line. End of story. In the context of "should you feel guilty for being white", no, you shouldn't feel bad. The reason why white pride became synonymous with hatred, is because the stereotypical "culture" of white people is rural, who typically dislike minorities more than whites raised with them.
