Dozens of millions here in this same area with the same people. Iraq/Afghanistan is valid but for another day. Or anyone could scroll though any region or era and ring up OTHER wars than the recent sticky in mindy ones.

Poland should have helped Ukraine by refreshing them on relying on much real help from western democracies. We know how that went, the Ally of these fairweather friends the USSR took the half Hitler left after Poland had blanked negotiations over the Danzig corridor on strong assurances and urging from BRITAIN, who were in reality the real force pushing for war, Not Germany who wanted the confiscated parts with ethnic German populations and who were increasingly being attacked and killed especially in Poland where thousands were purged. Up until 1942 countless very generous peace offers from Germany were ignored by Britain. Dunkirk... really? Hitler could have ended Britain but wanted no fight with them and even offered to support BRITAIN against anyone else including if that foe were a friend of Germany.
Everyone knows the victors write the history it's said all the time but NEVER APPLIED WITH OBJECTIVITY ON THIS WAR. Orwellian doublespeak black is white / allies the good guys.

As horrible as it is war stimulates the economy… it lowers populations… it reminds people that survive that life can be much worse which comes with many upsides…

There was something else that stimulated the economy and lowered populations it was called Covid-19, and also I don't care about people or the society they can all go to hell for all I care.
