In addition to everything you mentioned, is what cones at the backside of owning an electric vehicle. The charge time is extended the more times you recharge those batteries and the shorter the battery life becomes with age too. Think of how batteries work in a cell phone. Same thing.

At the end of life for a battery pack, what happens to the used batteries? It's almost as difficult to recycle used lithium as it is to dispose of spent uranium rods for a nuclear power plant.

Then consider the cost - at nearly $4500 for a new battery pack and a full day of downtime for your car.

Right now, it's as if Biden thinks everyone can just go to Wal-Mart and buy themselves an EV, and instantly cease using gas-powered vehicles. The ideas Democrats have are absolutely moronic when it comes to executing them.

It still baffles me that the EV designs coming out do not at least have a more modular approach to the battery pack, such that it can be more easily replaced after several years. They have become the next step in 'difficult to work on'. Look at what a 10 year old Tesla S goes for... $100k new, less than $20k at 10 years old. They're freaking sweet cars, but the battery pack has a mush more limited lifetime than an internal combustion engine, cost more to replace than an engine, and even the main brain of the car has a limited lifespan, and is extremely expensive to replace. And that's the best of the new electrics.
Conversely, the last car I sold off was a 2005 Cadillac CTS-V that I bought used in 2013. I put 50,000 miles on it over 8 years, just did basic maintenance and a couple small at-home repairs over that time, and sold it for a whopping $2000 less than I bought it for.

You bring up another point I forgot to mention - the initial cost to buy an EV. Regardless of the tax break you only get at the end of the year, those cars cost about 30% MORE than an equivalent sized gas-powered one. Since Biden's done his best to screw up the supply chain with his COVID regulations, you can't hardly find a gas-powered car to drive (because of a chip shortage, we're told). Just where are we supposed to get all these EV's to magically cure the gas shortage?

Lastly, I can't wait until a bunch of people plug in their EV's to charge them and then overload the electrical infrastructure of the country - something the idiot Democrats conveniently left out of their failed "Infrastructure" bill. They're so concerned about climate change, they couldn't be bothered to add EV charging stations across the country, AND provide more electrical power to handle it.

Lithium for electric car batteries comes from mines where the miners are often slave laborers.
