Are introverts slow in social situations when it comes to acting in the moment?

I'm so retarded when it comes to unexpected social situations. I swear the only thing I know how to do is get rid of people as fast as possible. Lol That's not usually my intention.

Not necessarily. I’m an introvert inside but I’m also very quick witted socially. I think as you get more used to dealing with people your response time gets faster.

On average they tend to be slower, especially when they are under pressure, when they are under pressure they tend to give in easily. Not all, obviously.

It's so rare that people come up to me that I tend to be caught off guard. At the same time I always question a person's motives which also makes me eliminate pointless chit chat.
