Why do people or extroverts always want to conversate with people who are introverted?

I barely talk to people at my job. Sometimes, my coworkers want to conversate with me even though I've been around them long enough for them to maybe figure out that I'm not a talkative person. Why do they want to conversate with me?

Everything I went through as a child. My parents want to live up to their expectations. For example, when I was a kid in elementary school, my dad would always yell at me or whop me with a belt to jog my memory when he's helping me with my homework and to take his frustrations out on me. And they force religion down my throat by making me and my brother gather in the living room near the kitchen and read the Bible. I never got to choose if I wanted to read the Bible or not. I always have to follow my parents' orders and do what I'm expected to do, or I'll get yelled at or get my ass whoped, or maybe my privileges are taken away.
