I think in order for French culture to continue they need to protect their nation from mass immigration.
However I’m not sure Le Pen will actually win this time, I don’t think she will be far closer then 2012 and 2017.

First of all, it is surprising that you ask this question given the lack of interest that the French elections must arouse among the Anglo-Saxon public.
This being said, Macron will probably win the elections. Macron wanted to face Marine le Pen.
That being said, I will not be voting on Sunday. Marine le Pen was still less feverish during the debate than that of 2017 where she was humiliated, but Macron mastered these subjects better.
But Macron was arrogant and moreover he is not patriotic, I guess he dreams of being a kind of Washington for Europe. In addition Macron has done some terribly shocking things that will reduce the influence of France, he has suppressed the diplomatic corps.
Also added that Marine le Pen wanted to leave the European Union at one point today she no longer wants to. I wonder where the consistency is. Moreover, she would like to get out of NATO's integrated command, get closer to Russia, etc. In the end, such a policy will not be beneficial to France.
I got used to the idea that France no the great nations, which will become a second-tier nation.
Neither Macron nor Le Pen deserves to lead France, but what can we do with the policies we have. I wonder where the Clemenceaus, De Gaulles, Pompidou have gone.
France is inevitably moving towards the decadence. She who was so great, here she is today out of breath with politicians who think more of their careers than of France.
Thanks so much for your detailed answer.
You have given me a lot of nausea I haven’t thought of.
It’s true most Americans don’t have much knowledge about the politics of different countries including France.
I have always liked learning about other countries and cultures.
I spent an entire year and a half devoting much of my time to learning about every country in the world basically for fun.
Although I do have a few friends who have similar political views as me who have opinions about the election.
I hope France can remain a great power, you never know what may happen in the future.
No problem. 😊 You are right, you have to be curious about other nations and their history and culture.
I am a pessimist, to imagine that France is a boat and that this boat has holes everywhere. the best of politicians will only plug some holes but the boat has too many holes and therefore impossible to prevent the boat from sinking. France must disappear from history with honor.
I support Le Pen! Her politics about deporting immigrant muslims and banning hijab is very reasonable! Hope she wins the elections!
I´m not really who I wanna see the election because Macron seems too self-orientated and often seems like a show master and less like a politician to me.
Le Pen on the other hand wants to leave the NATO and wants to do cherry picking with the EU.
Her policies would lead to problems with the EU and other countries.
Le Pen´s policy means turning away from EU and also US as partners and turning eastwards instead toward Hungary and Russia.
I´m not sure if that´s any better.
Elections are theatre and a waste of time. We all know that the system will pick Macron again. More so now after Le Pen's recent comments of support for Russia. I used to like her but since the conflict in Ukraine escalated the masks have fallen for many people and now it's easier to distinguish between true nationalists and ethno-bolshevik, eurasian, third-worldist, shitskin lovers.
I see your point of view but it’s hard to know the exact point of view of the Russian leadership.
I keep hearing people saying Russia is run under Euroasinist leadership but if that is true why is Moscow so much more Russian then London is British?
I think Putin supports these nationalist parties most likely because they would disrupt western nations but that doesn’t necessarily make those nationalist movements false in my mind.
Moscow is far from Russian. The percentage Asian hordes in the city is much higher than in any other European capital and Putin himself is openly a BLM supporter and opponent of nationalism. All russian nationalist organisations have been hunted by his government with many ending up in jail supposedly for breaking the terrorism act. Russia is a bolshevik country.

Is this happening AGAIN? I thought she ran in 2017 off the Trump momentum and lost because of how cucked in general France was? Is this like their version of Trump/Hillary 2?
Macron will win. Pretty much every European leader endorsed him publicly or indirectly. I can admit that Marine Le Pen came a long way given the way the party was during her father's reign. But all in all, her solutions are from yesterday.
I am an American, I have no say. It is an internal French matter.
Best bet is on centrists. But shit happens. Which is the only way your side wins.
