If you go South of DC and East of New Mexico, America becomes a new world. Racism, bigotry and poor education are all the norm.

You don't see this in Boston or New York or California. Even rural states Wyoming, Utah and Vermont are nothing like Alabama or Mississippi or Oklahoma.

Forget about being black... if you're a white guy from the North or West Coast and go to a Southern State may God have mercy on your soul.

What is called a "national divorce" would be wildly expensive. There are a lot of liberals living in the south who despise trump and racism. And there are a lot of trump supporters in the north. The only way a national divorce would work is if we relocated everyone. But that would cost a lot and we'd never agree on what proportions the north or south should pay for it. And even if we did the south would then be ran entirely by people who have made whole careers out of borrowing money and not paying it back, so there is zero chance they would pay their share. And then once all the people who do the work are in the north things will rapidly deteriorate in the south and they won't have us around to blame anymore. But they can't admit they were wrong (or they wouldn't want to leave in the first place) so i stead of realizing their mistake theyll just get mad at the north for undefined reasons and eventually invade to try to take what we were able to accomplish with them moved out of the way.

Yeah, because one-party systems work SO WELL everywhere else. And if you think racism doesn't exist up north, trying walking around south Boston while black. Or the south side of Chicago while white. Or Detroit, while looking like you might have money.

You should probably go back to school and get an education. The American South has the largest GDP of any region of the USA. Race politics are a blue state tactic. There aren't too many blue states in the South. All blue cities are plagued with poverty. Poverty rates are highest among Blacks and then Latinos statistically. 70 percent of Blacks and Latinos live in the cities or inner-ring suburbs. Math doesn't care about your feelings. You're just a low IQ yokel.

The only economically sustainable region in America is the South. GDP is intimately tied to energy consumption and more specifically oil consumption. The South produces excess energy when it comes to oil, natural gas, nuclear material, and the South has sufficient coal production as well. Coal production in the South could also be significantly increased if environmental issues were not a concern. South Eastern coal is dirtier variety so it is less used when other energy options are on the market such as Wyoming coal. All other regions are energy and specifically oil deficient to match their GDP. The West Has good coal reserves in Wyoming and untapped oil reserves in Alaska, but those states don't align with West coast commies. Pennsylvania has decent natural gas production, but is overall energy deficient as a region.

The South is also the only region that can feed itself with a complete diet and cloth itself. Southern agricultural production is highly diversified. The Midwest produces the lions share of calorie crops via grains, but they are highly dependent on Southern oil to do so. The West would starve on it's own. They produce a significant amount of truck crops (fruits & veggies) in California, but are calorie deficient. The North East would also starve without assistance.

The South has the largest industrial base and highest industrial growth when compared to other regions. The South also graduates the most engineers... The South also produces the most soldiers for the United States military which allows our country to protect our trade routs around the world. This allows the unsustainable economies in the West and North East to survive. There are many reasons why the South is growing in population and other regions are shrinking... America as a country would not survive without the economic engine of the South...

Your logic may be flawed. Look at the latest census numbers. The Northeast is losing population while the South is gaining it. Could it be that Northeasterners are tired of paying for socialist programs that don't work, and are moving to the South where individual freedom rules?

I think it is just the opposite. People are leaving states like New York and moving to Florida or Tennessee. I heard that 8000 people a day move to Florida. California has lost two House seats due to a population decline. All the people that can afford to move are getting out of Dodge. Just the homeless and people on welfare will be staying. They will try to raise taxes again which will just drive more people to move to Texas.
